During the next few days Lea and I were mostly taking care of the baby, I was given two months of maternity leave to be with the baby and Lea if she needs anything.
To be honest, watching Lea be a mother made me happy, she’s doing it so well the only thing she needs from me is breast milk. Luckily Jack and I are healthy and made it out of the hospital.
The complications that happened did scare me because it was not the first time happening but we made it and we are both more than fine.
Lea was dressing Jack while I was tidying the nursery a little bit when he started crying. We both looked at the time and realized it was time to feed him, so I took him from Lea’s hands and sat down on the bed in the room next to his crib.
“I’ll go get more diapers from the other room just in case,”
