"Every person has the power to change their fate if they are brave enough to fight for what they desire more than anything."
-Stephanie Garber
Her lips trailed down my chest, sending sparks to my very core. While her hand remain firmly against my chest. Holding me down against the mattress. I let my hands slide into her beautiful white hair, her eyes meet mine as she kisses the
"V" in my hips. My eyes burrow into hers looking into her very soul. I look over her near naked body trying to memorize every inch of her. Without hesitation I pull her ontop of my lap, her legs straddling me. I wrap my arms around her waist. She smiles down at me, biting her bottom lip in a muschevious grin. In her eyes there's a spark, one of lust and love. I'm about to speak when she starts grinding her hips against my c*ck. Her lace thong dripping with her excitement. "F*ck."
escapes my throat, as I can feel the length of my erection growing and straining against my boxers. She growls at me, and begins to kiss and nip at my neck.
"WILL OUR STARS EVER ALIGN!? WILL TWO HEARTS BEAT IN TIME!? THESE WORDS..."
I jump awake to the song lyrics from IPrevail. I smack my alarm clock to shut it up, sitting up. "F*ck me..." I say with exhaustion. I sit up bringing my knees to my face and rest my cheek on it. Another day and another dream. The band posters on my walls blurred as I tried to remember her in my dream. It was consuming me like a fog. I tried to desperately shake the fog away. I had dreams like this since the begining of this year, but before this year it was just glimpses of her running by in the woods. I had been lusting after this girl since the day I first saw her. When she arrived, she stole my heart with a sheepish smile. Her eyes never leaving the floor. She was terrified of everyone and everything. I watched her on that day, at lunch someone near her banged their lunch tray on the table. She jumped so high I thought she might go through the roof. Despite her fright it was obvious how incredibly strong she was. When she faltered, she composed herself quickly. At the end of the first day, she walked into me accidentally heading to the buses. She looked up, a blush crept across her face. She smiled at me, and said "Hi." waving shyly. I smiled down at her, and then her eyes looked to the floor as she darted off.
She was every waking thought, day dream, and center since that day. That was about 8 years ago. This dream was different though, I could see her face clearly. I could almost feel her skin against my hands, and they hummed like they really had touched her. I tried to shake away the memories of the dream, knowing that they would distract me from todays tasks. In this moment, I knew I needed clarity, and to do so meant that I needed to get the hell out of this house. I needed to test every limit I possibly could. Graduation was looming ahead of me, I would then be heading to Military School. I wanted to escape this town, this life, these small minded people, I needed to know that there was more than the path my family wanted for me. Honestly I loved them as any son should, I believed in the virtues of old. I was meant to carry on my bloodline, my name, and I wanted to find my happiness.
In order to attend Military School, I needed to train harder than ever to reach that. I also needed to push my limits because the Hunters Guild would soon be arriving to check on my progress. They would also meet with my parents to get an update on monstor activities, my progess, and the members of the training camp to the south. I knew my partole to play, and I had to be ready. I had some reservations, because I had a problem with them. I really didn't want to be a Hunter like the rest of my family and carry on my legacy. I didn't care that I was a Legacy Hunter. Where I lived, I would just be haunted by the screams of Nightwalkers (Vampires). I might even think of the crass language from taking the life of a Mage. Yet Nightwalkers, were bitter assholes. In the first two centruries they were alluring and even hard to locate. Once they walked the earth for more than two centuries past their expiration date they changed.
Once they reached that point Nightwalkers turn into their true form. They no longer could walk amongst mortals in the general population. They can no longer disguise themselves. Their skin turns to this dark leatherly texture, their arms form wings, and their nails turn into claws. They turn into the demonic vampires of old literature. At this point they no longer can control their hunger, because that's all they know. They can no longer communicate with people, other than sonar and screams. Their deadly, but they are weak during the day, to silver, a stake of white oak, and the blood of a Legacy Hunter.
If I wanted to be critial about saving humanity from these kinds of beast I'd like to really know what's out there. The "Hunter's Code" mentions "...monsters big and small..." Yet, I think commonly most of the mythical creatures that the code refers to died off long ago. Well, I believed that till this morning of all mornings. When I arrived at my favorite hidding spot on the mountain top near my families cabin hide-out, I was hit with the most incredible and terrifying sight I had ever seen. There was a HUGE White Wolf, asleep on the forest floor.
It wasn't an ordinary wolf though, that much I could tell from the height and the blue markings on its paws, face, chest, and tail. As I watched it I remembered rants that my Grandfather would go on, talking about how there were Werewolves in our area. That they weren't just around us, but they also were serveants to the Mages. I had never seen one, was this a Werewolf laying before me? I tried to reason with myself, maybe this was just a child of the evolution. Perhaps this was just a wolfdog pet, which would explain the blue. I was about to take a step closer to examine it when it started to wake up.
The Wolf started to look down its body, like it was checking itself. It closed its eyes for a second raising its muzzle, and opened its eyes. They locked onto my own, and we just stayed there looking at one another. I stood there trying to figure out what it may be thinking, while it stood up. One of it's ears tipped a little, but it was its eyes that took my breath away. It had one bright blue eye and one goldish honey eye, if I were to take it into town and see if it was a pet. Their eyes would help me find their owner faster. I was fighting my instincts though as I realized how big this Wolf really was. As a Hunter I was suppose to attack first and ask questions later. Just like now, I had moments where this was a struggle.
I started to reason internally that this is NOT a monster, and that I should not harm it. The Wolf just watched me with its beautiful eyes, I watched as it looked me up and down. When it started to take a step towards me, my instincts one out. My hand reached for the hunting knife at my waist. My other hand gripping harder onto my bow. I already knew that if I were to take down this beast, I would have to slit the Wolf's throat. The Wolf started to back away though, caused by my aggressive stance and movement towards a weapon. When it backed away far enough it started to turn around. I shouted after it "WAIT! DONT GO!!! PLEASE!!!" But it was long gone before my sentence was finished. I knew that it was going to turn around, but oh god did I want it to.
I was starting to beat myself up as I headed back towards my truck, musing aloud agaisnt myself. "What the hell was that? A Wolf? That was a huge ass Wolf then. I know there are local legends about Werewolves or Shifters... We don't have any Wolves around these parts, at least no record of them... Why did I threaten it?! Uhhhgggg!!!!" I was shaking my head in disapproval, chastising myself. I wanted to look at it again, try to figure it out... my instincts told me to kill it on sight though. I gripped my bow tightly trying to fight the urges. I was still walking when I heard a loud, mournful, and yet in a way threatening howl off in the distance. I stopped dead in my tracks looking in its direction. Maybe the Wolf was coming back.
The hair on the back of my neck prickled in excitement. When the howl died in the wind, and there was no movement I accepted it was going to return. I continued to walk towards my truck. I was thinking about the Wolf still though, trying to remember every detail so I could sketch it when I got home. When her voice broke my thoughts/concentration. "HEY!" was all she said, I didn't even have to turn around to know it was her either. I had studied the sound of her voice for years, without meaning to. I turned towards her with the best smile I could muster that wouldn't show how happy I was to see her.
Her eyes seemed to be studying me, "Hi?" I replied in kind of a meek voice. I was watching her, taking in the sight of her. Silver Honria, was incredibly beautiful. I don't think I could genuinely pinpoint a moment where she ever wasn't though. Most of the boys at our school desired her. It pissed me off the way they would talk about her. Yet, I never spoke out against it. I had no right too, I wasn't her boyfriend. Plus I had never even had a conversation really with her before. In this moment though, Silver seemed to glow. Her blue eyes were bright with mischief. Her smile genuine, and her body was incredible. She was wearing a red and black sports bra and low hanging black sweats. Her clothing assentuated her assets. She was curvy, brilliant, and just drop dead gorgeous. I realozed I was staring and looked down at the forest floor.
"Do you happen to know where we are? I kind of got in my head and got lost, your the first person I've run into." She said, it was shy and kind. I watched as a look of guilt fashed across her eyes, but all I could do was stare at her dumbfounded that she was actually talking to me.

(At the truck)

I sat in my truck reliving the conversation. Though not a lot was said, her voice was like music to my ears. The shy girl I knew from middle school was gone. She was a woman, and confident in every piece of it. She was so beautiful. I could not believe the curve of her hips, lips, and the way her hips swayed as she walked. My dreams we're almost entirely on point about her figure with less clothing. I wanted to see her again so I could ask her out. I wanted my dream, but mostly I wanted to be able to get to know more about her. I didn't want her to be a mystery.
I drove to the shooting range as I thought about her. So dristracted that I didn't even notice Fenrir Ridge and AJ Burlingame sitting near the sighting range talking, as I walked over to bow range. Fenrir stepped in front of me. "What are you doing here freak?" Now, Fenrir and I have never been friends, less so when Silver arrived. Mostly due to the fact that he constantly berated her. He was also just an as*hole. He believed that everyone should reward him for being alive. The problem was no one else agreed with him. He hung out with Silver's gang though, despite being a total di*k to her. Andrew would always defend her, which would cause Silver to laugh ignoring the two. I never understood her friends, or why she put up with them. Yet, she did it with style.
Looking at Fenrir now, after having an almost perfect morning due to speaking and seeing her. I just wanted to punch him. Fenrir may be taller and a wrestler. I could still lay him out with no problem. I stood at 5'10, Fenrir stood at about 6'2. He was muscular, but even with his confidence the strength I had was unlike any other due to my legacy bloodline. I could kill him with a punch to the chest, stopping his heart. I just stared into his eyes challenging him. After a minute I swore I could hear, a growl coming from somewhere. AJ stood in between us and laughed, "Hey, come on guys I just wanted to test out some new guns. Not get into a fight. Fen let's go. Sil will want to meet everyone for breakfast, rememeber?" Fenrir looked to his friend, then huffed. "This isn't over, freak."
Without missing a beat I let the words fall out, "Good, because someone needs to put you in your place." I glared at the boy. Fenrir looked at me with rage, I swore his brown eyes turned light green as he started to breath deeper. His anger nearly consuming the oxygen in the air. Once again, AJ got in the middle as I took a step forward. This time looking at me, "Paul, man can't we drop this? We have to get to our friends, and I like to come here to shoot. No point in us fighting and getting kicked out right?" I looked to him, he was one of the few people from Silver's friends that I kind of liked for his levelhead. I nodded my head and walked to the archery bench, turning my back to Fenrir and AJ. I heard some commotion but decided to not pay it any mind.
