“Kylie, I know I’m only thirteen, but please don’t let my cast for my arm be so ugly-looking.” -Keely James

September 22

Kylie is standing in front of the window of the room where the two boys are getting interviewed.

“So, you mean to tell me that they found her body but didn’t kill her?” Kylie asks the two detectives with a disappointment tone.

 “Yeah, they did, and they have an alibi too on the night she was actually murdered.” One of the detectives say with a sigh.

Kylie looks at the both of them.

“Then who are the suspects? What about Hunter’s ex-girlfriend that goes to the college close by here?” Kylie asks the men while taking a seat on a nearby chair.

The two men looked at each other.

“Have you been keeping up with the news lately?” Detective #1 asks Kylie with a frown forming on his face.

“No, I haven’t why?” Kylie asks him while crossing her arms.

They both squat in front of her.

“Well, she was arrested two days ago.” The same detective informs her.

“For what exactly?” Kylie asks the guy with her arms still crossed.

“The murder of Hunter.” Detective #2 says after clearing his throat.

 “Wait, I’m so lost now, she actually killed him?” Kylie asks them while standing up and then pacing back and forth.

“Yes, he was dead with gun shot wounds, and she was the one to do it, it was her bullet that was shot from her gun, she admitted to killing her himself.” The same guy explained to her.

Kylie is absolutely floored.

“Does she know who killed Keely?” Kylie asks them while stopping and looking at them.

“No, she does not, and she like those two guys in there have an alibi.” Detective #1 tells the girl.

This makes Kylie mentally groan and roll her eyes.

“Well, what’s her alibi then, hmm?” Kylie asks with a sassy tone.

“She was at work.” Detective #2 tells her as a matter of fact.

 Kylie just groans and then pushes her hands to her face.

“Um, tell those boys that they are free to go.” The detective tells his partner.

Kylie then storms into the interview room to see the two high school boys looking at her with a “what the f**k” look on their faces.

“I know you probably don’t know me, but I really need this case to be solved already, so that I can move on with my life.” Kylie tells them trying not to sound like a crazy person but failing miserably.

 Both detectives run in and one of them puts a hand on her shoulder.

“We don’t know who killed your friend, but like we told these guys, we found her body and right when we were going to report it to the cops it was gone.” The guy with red hair explained with a sigh.

“What do you mean her body was gone?” Kylie asks the guy annoyed.

Both boys looked at each other.

“She rolled off the bridge and fell into the river, it was too dark, it was at 2 in the morning, we couldn’t see her body, so we left and tried to go to our local police station, and that’s when they told us they’ll take care of it.” The redhead continued on speaking letting out a sigh.

 Kylie then screams and shoves him against the wall after he was out of the handcuff.

“YOU LET HER BODY GO!? HOW CAN YOU BE SO STUPID?!” Kylie asks them while screaming into his face.

One of the detectives wrapped his arms around Kylie and took her off him.

The two boys ran off and Kylie just gets on her knees and sobs.

“I WANT THIS TO BE OVER WITH! I-I MISS KEELY!!” Kylie cries out and starts to bawl her eyes out on the white carpeted floor.

 “It’s been months since I last got to hug my best friend, since I last got to see her alive even.” Kylie says with a broken voice.

Hugging her knees close to her chest.

September 25

“Can you tell me why you broke down?” The $30 an hour shrink asks Kylie while crossing a leg and tapping on her big notepad.

 Kylie lets out a sigh.

“Because, I just want this to be over with.” Kylie says while rubbing her head.

“Want the case of Keely to be over with?” The woman asks Kylie.

“Yeah, because once they find who killed her, then I can be free and go away from this place in peace.” Kylie tells her while cracking her fingers.

The woman starts to write everything down.

“How do you feel about Keely’s death?” The shrink asks the girl.

Kylie gives her a look and then stands up and walks up to the window.

“You’re the first person to ask me that.” Kylie says truthfully.

“I see, can you tell me about that?” The woman asks while writing that down.

“Sure, let’s begin.” Kylie tells her while laying down on the couch.

Then closes her eyes.
