LAYLA It had been an uneventful dinner, the type where everyone talks but no one pays much attention. The same old conversation about the pack, Del speaking with the Gemma whom he had invited over for dinner and me feeling bored because I had something to tell him and as the dinner was taking longer than necessary I simply forgot what I wanted to say. I excused myself and withdrawed to the living room and apologizing for the conversation as soon as the last plate was cleared.
