The Rejection

Lyras's POV

My eyes widened with shock the minute those words escaped my lips. I can't believe what's happening right now.

Now I understand what has been happening to me since this evening. It all makes sense now. Alpha Kael is my mate, and that is the reason why he clouded my senses.

“What's happening here? I don't…” I stammered, trying to talk. Fear gripped as I didn't know what to expect. The alpha of our pack is my mate?

How is this even possible? From what I have heard and seen. Alphas are most likely mated to Alpha's daughter or wolves from powerful bloodline.

My family might have a title, but I'm nowhere close to being powerful. I don't even have a wolf. I threw my face to the other side as my eyes stung with tears. I couldn't bear for Alpha Kael to see me as a weak girl.

“What do you think is happening? We just found out that we are both mated to each other by fate. I had sensed it since morning, and that was why I came into the woods to wait for you.” Kael said, and I looked up at him in surprise.

“You knew I was your mate since this morning? Why didn't you say something?” I asked him as so many thoughts popped into my head.

“Yes, my wolf sensed it already. That was the reason why you were able to smell me even from miles away. And I didn't come to your party because I didn't want to ruin it. I wanted you to have your moment.” Kael said, and my heart leapt with joy.

I have never heard him speak so softly before. He seemed sweet, at least with me. Does this mean he accepts me?

“Really?” I asked him, and he nodded his head.

“Come here…” he said and took my hand. He pulled me away and brought me under a big tree. The moon shone on his face, and I was able to get a clearer view of how he looked tonight.

My heart swelled with pride as I studied his face. In the history of the many alphas that have ruled us. Alpha Kael is the most handsome of them all. His eyes, nose, and thin lips complimented his beauty so well.

His contoured cheekbones pooped out, giving him a sturdy look. My eyes travelled down his muscular body. I could feel heat spread all over my body as his body grew closer to mine.

“You look beautiful…” he complimented me, and I blushed. All of a sudden, he slammed his lips on mine and kissed me.

The kiss was sweet and tantalizing that I didn't know how to react at first. I just stood there in a daze, allowing his tongue to invade my lips.

“Have you ever been kissed before?” Kael asked me.

“No… This is my first time.” I muttered shyly, and he chuckled. He lifted my chin up with his finger and placed a soft kiss on my lips. I closed my eyes, savouring this one in a lifetime moment.

He grabbed my head with his hand and kissed me again. The kiss was gentle at first as he sucked my lips, teaching me how to follow him.

Then the kiss grew hungry. He pulled me closer to him and wrapped his arm around my waist. I learnt fast and followed his lead. My body trembled in pleasure, and I responded to him so well.

“Aahhh! Mmm!!” I moaned as the kiss grew more intense. Kael carried me and laid me on one of the ground.

“Are you comfortable there?” he asked me, and I nodded my head. He kissed me again and slipped his hand underneath my gown. He fumbled with my breast as he cupped them with his two hands.

“Aahhh!” I yanked his hair, brushing my fingers through it. I held one of his shoulders for support as he continued to kiss me.

He trailed kisses down my neck and down my shoulder. He gently peeled my dress off my body, leaving me with just my underwear. He stared at me for a while with his eyes filled with lust and passion.

He removed my underwear as well, and I felt shy as I was starked naked in front of him. He patted my hips and laid himself in between me.

He unbuttoned his shirt as well, leaving him chest bare. I drooled to see his sexy and toned body. He removed his belt, leaving his trousers loose. He grabbed one of my breasts and sucked on it.

“Aahh! Aahh! Kael…” I moaned his name loudly, my body shuddering under his touch.

“This might hurt a bit, but I will be gentle.” Kael said, and I nodded my head, even though I have no idea what he meant. He kissed me softly and lifted my butt up

All of a sudden, I felt something pierce into me.

“Aaahhh!” I yelped out in pain.

Our moans and grunts filled the woods, and we got lost in each other.

Finally, we both reached our climax, and Kael collapsed on my body.

I frowned, wondering if I had asked the wrong question. But I'm sure that's the way he was supposed to me. He just made love to me, which means he accepts and wants me.

“You are the alpha of the pack, and I'm sure you understand the traditions our world the most. You have to go see my father and declare your intentions of claiming me as your luna. You must speak to him first before you can claim me.” I suggested, and immediately Kael withdrew his hand from me.
