DAISY Daisy squinted her eyes and looked at the object perched at the fringe of the beach, where pink-tinted sand turned into blue jungle. About twenty feet long and half as wide, it looked like a giant loaf of bread on wheels. Psychedelic paint was splattered across the sides, punctuated by spirals twirling outward into paisley pinwheels. There were oodles of fluorescent pink flowers entwined with lime-green frogs whose lithe tongues juggled aqua, lemon yellow, and raspberry tinted eggs. All of this was plastered along the sides and over the top of the classic-yet-not school bus. Even the tires, which a person might expect to be black, were mottled shades of purple and magenta.
