DAISY Blue. There it was again. Everywhere. Enveloping her eyes. Cradling her spirit. Choking her throat. “Albert? Are you there?” Daisy coughed. “I can’t see anything. Chauncey? Anybody?” Her voice escalated as the blue blindness surrounded her. “Somebody, help me! I can’t see. Or move!” The last time this had happened, she’d been tucked safely inside Sir Albert’s majestic plumes. But this felt entirely different.
