GRATITUDE
While writing is in essence a solitary act, I cannot in good conscience end this
book without offering immense gratitude and thanks for those who have walked each
step of the way with me in this grand adventure.
Blue began as a tug of my heart. Like Daisy, Monica, and Izabel, I was stuck in time.
Suffering with a bout of writer’s block after the publication of my non-fiction work,
As I Lay Pondering: daily invitations to live a transformed life, I needed an impetus
to move forward. National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) arrived at the perfect
time, so I signed up and tossed my intention into the universe. Friends from around
the world cheered me on and enthusiastically helped launch the project that turned
into Blue.
