Chapter 7

2467 Words

I thought falling asleep in a foreign place would be difficult but I actually had the best sleep that I’ve had in years. However, it was quite difficult to tell the time here. There was no sun, no natural lighting that would hint on the time. The entire place looked exactly how it did last night.  What actually woke me that morning was a soft knock on the door. I stretch and scamper to the door still half asleep. When I opened it, I prepared for the worst but it was merely a basket of freshly sewn clothes. All in dark colors with maximum skin exposure. They are quite scandalous here in the Nightbornes.  One particular clothing had me blushing up to my ears. It was truly a sight.  We really couldn't be more different from each other. Sunwalkers are far from being prudes or conservative.
