We spend the entire day with the other Nightbornes. The laughter that I shared with them was more than I’ve ever laughed in my whole life. They grilled fish, squid and a variation of meat at the sides of the river which they shared with Thorne and I. We sipped colorful sweet drinks too.
All of this happened in our under clothing, with our hair still dripping wet and their tattoos shining brighter than it’s ever been. It must be the euphoria.
Thorne and I jumped off the pathways several more times and the feeling of exhilaration never really stops. I never wanted it to stop.
