After dinner, Antonio insisted on us going to the club again, and no surprise 21it was The Lounge. “Why do you always come here?” I asked him as we walked towards the door. “Because this is Leif’s bar,” He said as we approached the doorman. Antonio grabbed my hand in his as the doorman ushered us inside. “Are you ready, cupcake?’ “Cupcake?” I rolled my eyes at him. “Sure, why not? Cupcakes are good enough to eat,” he laughed, and I knew he was half-joking, but I wanted to slap him. “I’m not your cupcake,” “Fine, sweetness, calm down. Let’s get this show on the road,” We walked into the VIP section hand in hand, and every eye, human and vampire, fell on us. I could hear the whispers, but I couldn’t make them out. I hated myself then. I was never somebody’s play toy for a while
