     We marched straight to the front of the line and right in the door. I didn’t care about the security guards, and they didn’t seem concerned about me. The same went for the VIP area, which is where most of the vamps hung out. I was sure Antonio would be there. However, I made one brief stop before I continued my search for Antonio, the bar. The bartender was busy pouring drinks for two guys, and of course, one of them caught Alissa’s eye. I wondered what happened to the guy she had seen this week. “Two shots of patron and one s*x on the beach,” Alissa said. “Lemons or limes?” the bartender asked. “No, and no salt either,” Alissa replied. The bartender made our drinks and set them in front of us. “Tequila?” I scrunched up my nose at the clear liquid in the glass. I was not a fan.
