As much as Danica had enjoyed not having her parents hovering over every little thing she did, she knew she should call her mother while she was in town where she actually could get some cell reception. Luckily, though, Danica got the voicemail at the house, which meant she was able to leave a message saying that she was fine, and the cabin was fine, but something had gone funky with the land line.
