When Noctis broke our kiss long enough to open the door of his chambers I tensed and looked around us in surprise. Noctis’s chambers were all the way up the southern tower, the location was diametrically opposed to the patio where we had been standing not long ago. Even if our kiss had kept me completely unaware and dissociated from our surroundings- yes, his kisses were that good - I still ought to have felt him moving through the long stairs that led to the top of the tower. How could I’ve missed that?
