She woke up in a familiar environment.looking around she noticed she was on her bed she tiptoed slowly to the living room only to find his father being comforted by a strange woman on the left was a girl her age.Hello leah I'm your mother's friend and this is my daughter Jane.Leah didn't know this lady but since she knew her late mother she politely greeted back and proceeded to sit next to her father.They talked about the burial which is to happen on the following day, when everything was settled Leah went back to her room to rest and wait for the sad big day.. Everything happened so fast the burial, the send off and family visit.On a wednesday evening leah decided to make a quick snack only to find his father and the strange lady being close to each other.
'Leah it's good you came downstairs your father has something to discuss with you 'the strange woman known as Cindy said with a big smile plastered on her face.Cindy and I will be getting married tomorrow and her daughter Jane will be living with us his father told her without hesitation.Leah looked at his father with disbelief evident in her eyes it has not been a week since we buried mom and you are thinking of replacing her she can't be replaced I don't want her replaced I'm not in favour of the wedding Leah retorted .I will get married whether you like it or not.Leah could not believe what she heard this was her father whom she loved she had not recovered the first blow yet when her father told her to vacate her current room and stay in the store near the kitchen since Jane her stepsister will be staying in her room. Without waiting for Leah's response,Leah was dragged into the store room which was now her room.She cried but no one was there to console her she was now on her own and the strange woman was about to be her step mother.
