Elara's POV

Staring at Rachel in confusion. The door pushes open, and it's Diaz, He walks in with a warm smile, and soon after Rachel stands up and embraces him, kissing him to his sides.

How could they do this? Right in my room? I turned towards them fully, and the wrinkle on my forehead became more pronounced.

Ruby growled at Rachel for taking away her mate, She did while panting around waiting to emerge. I quickly calmed her down. But I, on the other hand, couldn't watch my mate stand with her. Even if we weren't mated any longer.

Diaz pulled Rachel by her waistline, their lips were barely apart, he stretched further while whispering sensual words into her ears, rubbing his tongue against her lobes. Afterwards, Rachel slid her hands slowly into his pants.

"Wait, are they about to make out right in front of me ?" I whispered to myself, my jaws pressing hard against themselves, eyebrows pointed downwards. At this point, I couldn't watch them do this. I gripped Rachel by her hair pulling her away from him, "Ahhh!" She screamed, trying to hold down her hair.

Diaz roared, his voice echoing around the room, vibrating almost everything. My wolf quickly fled to the edge of my mind. Before I could stare back at him, his hands struck my face, and his fingers which turned claws made a cut strip on my face.

The sudden blow knocked me down, I could only hear shallow voices, he was trying to raise her, he quickly turned towards me, his wolf was just at the brink of emerging. "This should be the last time you lay your barren fingers on her, Hope I've made myself clear?"

I felt frail, barely holding myself against the ground, after they got up, Rachel whispered into his ears. He walked towards me, pulling me up by my hair. My toes were barely touching the ground.

I was almost at eye level with him and he roared even louder, "I never want to see you anywhere around Me or Rachel, and that's final." He dropped me falling towards the ground hard and walked out of the room with her.

Groaning in pain, I couldn't even pull myself up this time. Ruby took over, skin turning fur, she burst right through the door, running and knocking Rachel over. Before Daiz could transform, Rachel stopped him. "Let her run, I doubt she will ever return," Diaz growled in agreement.

Running through the streets, I had to take the passenger seat this time and let Ruby go full out. How did so much love and affection turn towards cold and hatred? Ruby dashed even faster, heading towards the woods.

At the Outskirts of town, before she could come to a halt, she slumped, rolling over and over before crashing into a building and making a c***k in the wall. Soon after she transformed back, I was lying in confusion. "What happened?" She kept on panting. I got up to my feet naked and feeling vulnerable. Before I could move an inch I threw up.

Holding onto my thighs and breathing heavily, I sneaked into the house I crashed into unnoticed and stole some clothes. I searched for a nearby local hospital for medical aid. After a few minutes of searching, I found one but I collapsed right at the entrance of it.

A few hours later…

I woke up and turned towards my wrist, I had an IV Fluid drip on. I turned towards a small mirror, my face was pale and my eyes were barely opening. The Doctor walked in, "Good Evening ma'am, we found you at the entrance of one of our exit ways." I turned towards his direction, words could barely leave my mouth.

"Although, we carried out some tests as to why you collapsed and found out you were pregnant." He continued tilting his head in confusion. "You do look very familiar as well."

As soon as I heard the word "Pregnant" my wolf rejoiced, this was another opportunity to make them accept me, I need to return to the Palace, I thought to myself. I quickly stripped the drip off my hands bulging out of the room in the hospital dress.

"Don't let her go out! Stop her!" I could hear from a distance.

I made it to the Palace entrance, but before I could get close to the big gate, a sheet of paper flew right into my face, taking it off, I saw my face on it, WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE boldly written with a very hefty fine for whoever finds me.

I quickly ignored it, using the secret passages through the walls and into the courtyard, breaking into most rooms I couldn't find Diaz, I quickly dashed towards the Palace garden, but still no trace of him. Where could he be? I couldn't wait to tell him the good news.

Before I could get to the training ground right before the woods, I saw a slim slender figure, it was Rachel standing right at the entrance. She walked towards me majestically with a smirk on her face.

"Look who decided to return, Elara Winters, you do have the nerves coming back here." She said while spinning the purse in her hand and rolling her eyes " I could sniff your barrenness, even a mile away."

I came to a halt, just to catch my breath, ignoring whatever she had to say, all that mattered to me was meeting Diaz, "Where is he?" My voice rose octaves higher than usual.

"And what makes you think I'll tell you ?" She said, walking slowly while turning around me. "Because I'm pregnant for him, I have his child and I'm here to take what is rightfully mine," I shouted, my fingers clenched into fists.

"W-Wait, How could this be?" She stuttered, "You can't be pregnant, you shouldn't be?" Her face lit with confusion, "Except you're lying and you want another chance with him."

What does she mean by "I shouldn't be?" I murmured to myself, looking towards my stomach while thinking heavily. She knows nothing about me so well to be able to stand on the fact that I can't conceive. What does she know?

I wasn't barren.

I never lost my womb.

But I just didn't conceive!

"What makes you so sure that I can't get pregnant?" I questioned her in-depthly.

"Rachel! Is there something I don't know about?" This time I found her deceptive, she couldn't mutter a word, she just stood still watching me in discomfort. She finally broke the silence, I caused it. "Caused what Rachel? What did you do?" I voiced angrily.
