CHELSEA'S P.O.V As I woke up, the encouraging words from Neriah last night echoed in my mind. He was right—I needed to move on with my life. Determined to make a fresh start, I grabbed the list of tech companies I had compiled the previous night and decided to spend the day applying to each one of them. In the afternoon, I ventured out to buy some medication for my aunt. The doctor had prescribed a specific drug that wasn't readily available in the neighborhood. Frustrated, I called Neriah for help, and he informed me that the medication was both scarce and expensive. However, he knew of a*****e where I could find it for sure. I hailed a cab and arrived at the recommended store. It was a grand, luxurious pharmacy, quite different from the small shops I was accustomed to. Taking a deep breath, I walked inside and approached the counter, requesting the medication. Just as I did, a little girl behind me accidentally tripped and spilled her chocolate drink all over me. ISABELLE'S P.O.V Lost in the world of drug properties, I hadn't noticed when Gabriella, my playful daughter, stumbled and spilled her drink on someone nearby. Startled, I quickly rushed to her side to apologize. However, my daughter's bodyguard, immediately intervened, trying to control the situation. "Move back," I snapped at the guy, my frustration mounting. I couldn't believe Javier still insisted on us going everywhere with a bodyguard as if we were teenagers. I turned my attention back to the lady who had been on the receiving end of the spilled drink. "I'm so sorry," I apologized, sincerely hoping to rectify the situation as quickly as possible. "It's no problem, ma'am," the lady replied with a warm smile, surprising me with her kind response. I turned and faced Gabriella addressing her softly, "I've told you, Gabriella, to stop running around." She kept her head bent, showing remorse for her actions. "Oh, there's no need to yell at her. She's just a child," the lady chimed in, defending Gabriella. Trying to console Gabriella, the lady bent down and said, "Hi, Gabriella, come on, there's no need to cry. It was an accident, and neither your mom nor I are angry anymore." Gabriella's tears began to subside, and she smiled gratefully at the lady. Curiosity got the better of her, and she couldn't help but ask, "What's your name, miss?" The lady, introducing herself kindly, replied, "My name is Chelsea." With a beaming smile, Gabriella happily added, "My mom's name is Isabelle," proudly including me in the conversation CHELSEA P.O.V It was one of those days that had a sparkle in the air, a hint of something wonderful about to happen. As I entered my humble abode, I casually dropped the complimentary card that Mrs. Isabella had given me. Thoughts of Mrs. Isabella and her enchanting child flooded my mind. I couldn't help but smile at the memory of their sweetness. Suddenly, Mrs. Isabella's face flashed before my eyes. She had been so warm and inviting, offering to take me to the shop across the street for ice cream and even offering to cover the cost of my medications. Her kindness lingered in my heart, making me feel grateful for the people who crossed my path. Feeling a mix of exhaustion and anticipation, I settled onto my worn-out sofa, gazing up at the ceiling. My mind wandered to my future plans, contemplating the path I wanted to take. Thoughts of Jake's unexpected return raced through my mind, jolting me out of my reverie. I reached out instinctively, snatching my laptop from the nearby table, hoping to distract myself from those whirlwind emotions. As I opened my email, my eyes widened in disbelief. There it was, shining like a beacon of hope— an interview invitation from TechNex company. Excitement coursed through my veins, making my heart beat faster. I couldn't contain my joy and let out an exuberant shout, filling the room with my excitement. Just as I was reveling in the thrill of the moment, my overly dramatic aunt burst into the room, brandishing a bat as if on a mission to unleash chaos. Startled at first, I quickly realized her intentions were far from malicious. I couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of her, her wild eyes searching for a target. With a mischievous grin on my face, I met her gaze and burst into laughter. "Oh, dear Auntie, you scared the living daylights out of me! I thought there was real danger lurking around," I exclaimed, still giggling. Auntie, relieved to find that her presence had caused amusement rather than panic, let out a sigh of relief. "You had me worried there, my dear. I never intended to frighten you, why on earth did you scream like that?" she confessed, a hint of sheepishness in her voice. Amidst the lingering laughter, I couldn't contain my excitement any longer. "Guess what, Auntie? I've been selected for an interview at TechNex company!" I shared, the anticipation bubbling in my words. Her eyes widened, and a wide smile crept onto her face as she enveloped me in a warm hug. "Oh, my darling, that's absolutely marvelous! I knew great things were destined for you. This is just the beginning," she exclaimed, her voice filled with genuine pride and joy. At that moment, with Auntie's arms wrapped around me, I felt a surge of gratitude for the people who believed in me and supported me on my journey. The future suddenly seemed brighter, brimming with possibilities. And as we embraced, I knew that no matter what lay ahead, I had a loving ally by my side, ready to cheer me on every step of the way
