Dalia- This diner has all the vintage charm. Like exactly what you expect from a small diner off the interstate in a small town. The smells of granny’s spaghetti and grilled meat fill the air here. I scan the room seeing some truck drivers sitting at the counter. The TV plays the local news on mute. There are a couple of families filling the booths by the entryway. There is a lot of chatter as I listen to some conversations with my excellent hearing. One couple is ready to break up. Another table has a family that the mom sounds utterly exhausted. They have two toddlers. Next to them is a couple of newlyweds who are doing a cross-country trip. Then, by the door, there are two couples that are hiking through the mountains after they leave here.
