Dr. Katina brings in her machine to do an ultrasound of the baby. I sit patiently, waiting for more information.
“Okay, I see the baby is totally healthy. A little on the big size. But if it’s part bear or…other species that is right on track. You are exactly five months and you could have this baby any day now.” Dr. Katina moves the wand around, showing a very active baby. I lean in drawn to the screen. “I honestly recommend that since your due date is any day now, we wait on the paternity test.” I nod in agreement.
“I think that’s a good idea.” I reply, looking at Robin as she smiles.
“I want you to rest. Your blood pressure is good, and I want it to stay that way. I want to see you every day so we can see if you’re starting to dilate.”
