The time was closing in and the growing tension around the country and everywhere else wasn't helping Klarence's state of mind. He's been restless and so was his wolf, Ming.
Chester was no different. Even if it's just a small part of him, he was scared. It was that part of him that dreaded this time to come - Klarence's eighteenth birthday.
As the night grew deeper, Chester's chest tightened in fear. Klarence hasn't come back from his duty -- helping fix the border which most likely be used by rogues to get to their packlands. It rained heavily the day before and now it's taking a while to fix the side of the cliff, the only reason White Moon's territory was out of the rogues' grasp.
