Chapter 2: It Begins Now [Part 2]

“Alright. So what’s next?’ Ra’el inquired

“We’ve got to find out what happened to him” Sir A ‘lazar said

‘” How” Ra’el asked

“Even if he’s alive, he still look weak. I don’t think he might be able talk” Ra’el added

“Ra’el is right.” Gwydion stroked his chin

“Who said anything about asking him?” Sir A ‘lazar said with a smirk

“Oh no, please don’t tell me you’re going to use it?” Ra’el shivered frightfully

“What’s going on?” Gwydion said while he glared at Ra’el

A ‘lazar with a mischievous smile reached into his right pocket and brought out a tiny gold pinkie ring which had multiple runic symbols engraved into it.

“What is that” Gwydion asked

“He calls it, The Ring of Enchantment” Ra’el frowned

“ The ring of what?” Gwydion said with a straight face

“ Of Enchantment” Sir A ‘lazar yelled with joy

“ What are it’s abilities” Gwydion mockingly said

“ It’s only ability is astral projection.” Ra’el bluntly said

Gwydion immediately erupted with laughter “ So why call it The Ring of Enchantment when it is basically The Ring of Astral projection” he said sarcastically

“I made it, I get to name” Sir A ‘lazar thundered

“ And besides it’s not only used for astral projections, It can also allow me to travel to Dimensional planes that are usually inaccessible to Mortal such as The Mortal Mind, Multiple realities and so on” A ‘lazar confidently boasted

“Oh I’m so impressive” Gwydion sarcastically exclaimed with a mocking clap which in turn caused Ra’el to burst into laughter

“Cut it out !” A ‘lazar roared in anger

Gwydion waved his hand at A ‘lazar as he tried to contain his laughter “ Alright…Alright, what are we going to do with it” He said

“We’re going to use it to enter his mind.” Sir A ‘lazar sadistically grinned

“ Isn’t that illegal?” Ra’el said jokingly

“ No, it isn’t” Sir A ‘lazar roared

“ I think” Sir A ‘lazar whispered

“ You think ?” Gwydion mockingly yelled

Sir A ‘lazar sighed with annoyance as he yelled” Do you want to do this or not”

“ Fine, you don’t need to yell” Gwydion replied

“ Thank you” Sir A ‘lazar sighed with relief

“Rhowch fynediad I mi at el feddul ” Sir A ‘lazar whispered to the ring

Right after the Incantation, the ring began to glow bright golden while it began to spin clockwise causing it fly off A ‘lazar’s hand flying straight to the Unconscious Custodian. After a couple of seconds, it halted it’s cycle and hovered around the young mage’s head while it’s bright golden glow grew stronger.

“ Are you ready for this ?” A ‘lazar brightly said

“Nope” Ra’el took a big gulp

The trio’s body began to glow golden as their molecular structure began to disintegrate into tiny glowing particles which clustered at The Ring and immediately passing through it and I to the Custodian’s mind.

Once the particles went through completely, the trio’s bodies gradually got reformed in the Custodian’ s mind which was an enormous spatial void. The trio floated freely in the spatial void as they began to notice that they were surrounded by numerous portals which signified and played Custodians memories.

“ Wow, this is awesome!” Ra’el erupted with excitement

“ I told you so.” Sir A ‘lazar gloated

“Look for the portal which shows the moment he got attacked.” Sir A ‘lazar added.

Both Gwydion and Ra’el nodded in affirmation as they began their search. The Custodian's mind was awfully scrambled which in turn distorted his memories.

The search went on and on and on until Ra’el finally made a breakthrough.

“ Hmmm, this might be it” He whispered and immediately yelled to the others “ I think I’ve found it”

“Really” Sir A ‘lazar asked

“ That’s great” Gwydion said

“ I’m not sure it’s the one we’re looking for” Ra’el immediately replied.

“ Let’s see what you found “ Sir A ‘lazar said with a straight face

The trio stared at the Memory portals and watched what happened to The Custodian during the attack.

Their mouth dramatically dropped as witnessed the incident that happened.

“ What the hell was that thing?” Ra’el roared.

“ And was that Dark magic? “ Gwydion frightfully asked.

“ It seemed to have a high prowess in Dark magic” Sir A ‘lazar said while he gently stroked his chin

“ I haven’t someone who possesses dark magic before.” Gwydion briefly added

“ It’s true after The Great Necromancy wars, most people with Dark magic went into hiding but it seems like they have began to show themselves again “ Sir A ‘lazar calmly said

“Not just that, you guys saw the last part. That thing stole one of Morgana’s eyes” Ra’el worriedly yelled

“ Things are really getting bad.” Gwydion said with a blank face

“ I have to report this issue to The White Order of Wizards….” Sir A ‘lazar sighed

“ I’m sure they won’t be happy hearing about this” Gwydion said almost bursting into laughter

A ’lazar reached into his left pocket and brought out a tiny black box which had multiple golden dragon inscriptions. The sight of the tiny box immediately caught both Gwydion’s and Ra’el’s attention.

“ What’s that ?” Ra’el curiously stared at the tiny box.

“It’s a Traplet….” Gwydion said with a straight face

[ Traplet, a magical artifact with an inbuilt spatial storage used to store, trap or seal various material and Immaterial object, beings and so on.]

“Okay, what are you going to use it for?” Ra’el asked

“ I’m going to collect this piece of his memory” Sir A ‘lazar briefly said

“Won’t it hurt him?” Ra’el immediately objected

“Nah, it will just erase that point of his memory” Gwydion said

Ra’el worriedly stared at Gwydion and then turned his attention to A ‘lazar. “ Alright, if you say !” He said

A ’lazar faced the precise memory portal and dramatically opened the Traplet causing the memory portal which housed The Custodian’s memory of the attack got sucked into the Traplet. Afterwards, he immediately closed it and kept it back in his pocket.

“Done” Sir A ‘lazar said.

“Great, now let’s get the heck out of here!” Ra’el yelled.

“Alright” Gwydion said, almost bursting into laughter after seeing Ra’el facial expressions which really similar to someone who was about to throw up.

“This way..” Sir A ‘lazar said, leading the duo to a door shaped portal which glowed bright golden.

They finally passed through the portal and got materialized in reality.

“What now?” Ra’el asked while staring at Sir A ‘lazar.

“We’ll head over to The White Order” Sir A ‘lazar immediately answered

“Well have fun you guys, I have to get going.” Gwydion said while he casually waved his hand at the duo.

“You’re seriously not coming with us.” Ra’el shouted surprisingly

“Yeah, I just came to help The Custodian and that’s all.” Gwydion said while his eyes slowly turned cold

“Alright, if that’s the case. Good bye” Sir A ‘lazar said

“ Goodbye Gwydion, I hope I see you again.” Ra’el sadly said

“ Yeah, whatever you say” Gwydion said while he gradually conjured up a portal.

Gwydion looked back and briefly bid them goodbye as he waltz through the Azure colored portal which closed immediately he vanished from plain sight.

“Why did he have to leave like that?” Ra’el stared at A ‘lazar.

“Gwydion wasn’t really a good team player. Not only that, he had made a bunch grave mistakes and he still carries those burdens..” Sir A ‘lazar awkwardly chuckled

“What mistakes? You’ve got to tell me!” Ra’el said with total seriousness written all over his face.

“Well, that’s a story for another day” Sir A ‘lazar lightly chuckled.

“Right now we have to report this accident to The Order” A ‘lazar added.

“Yeah you’re right, even the King of the United continent should hear about this” Ra’el said.

“That’s right, I see you’re using head” A ‘lazar said with a slight chuckle.

“What’s that suppose to mean?” Ra’el said, as his eyes slowly turned cold.

“Nothing” A ‘lazar immediately replied

Few Minutes Later,

Mexovauria,

The Hall of Wizards.

[ The Hall of Wizards, a monumental building built by The United Continent in memorial of The White Order of Wizards.

The White Order of Wizards, a group of exceptional Sorcerers and Arch mages from all over the United Continent and they include; Salvark, Lord Potter, Lenora, Azeharad, Agnes and their deceased leader Merlin.]

All the members of the Order were majestically seated on really high chairs which were arranged in a semicircular way which was similar in nature to the semicircular table which was in front of them.

A ’lazar and Ra’el stood in between the semi-circular table and were been addressed by the Order.

“A ’lazar, please explain yourself?” Salvark calmly said while stroking his long grey beard.

“As you wish, Lord Salvark. Moments ago, The Debacle of Mysteries was invaded by an Unknown Entity. The entity attacked and almost killed The Custodian of The Debacle” Sir A ‘lazar said with a calm demeanor.

“Who or maybe what attacked The Debacle?” Azeharad viciously roared

“After my brief investigations, I and my subordinate discovered this.” Sir A ‘lazar said, as he slowly reached into his left pocket and dramatically brought his Traplet. He then opened it which in turn released the Memory portal he took from the Custodian.

Seeing A ‘lazar’s display, the interest of The Order was piqued as they watched the replay closely.

“Dark Magic, How is that possible?” Lenora said, as she closed her mouth with her right palm.

“Those bastards have started to their faces again” Potter said with an extremely cold demeanor.

“Not only that, The First Piece of Morgana’s eye was stolen” Agnes said, as she shook her head in disappointment.

“We entrusted that Artifact I to your care and look at what happened” Salvark said.

“You should be ashamed of yourself !” Azeharad yelled.

A ‘lazar immediately gritted his teeth before he could explode with rage. “I and the White Council of Arch Mages are absolutely sorry” He said, with a respectful bow.

“Bowing your head doesn’t changes anything, A ‘lazar” Potter said, with as glared at A ‘lazar.

If looks could kill, A ‘lazar would have died five times in a row.

“Exactly and also blaming him won’t solve the problem as well!” Ra’el came to A ‘lazar’s rescue.

Rather than thanking Ra’el, A ‘lazar immediately berated him for his disrespectful actions.

“The Half Elf is right, blaming him won’t solve anything” Lenora said, with a cheerful smile.

“Thank you, Lord Lenora” A ‘lazar instantly replied

“I speak for everyone when I say we, The White Order of Wizards won’t interfere in your affairs” Salvark said, while wearing a straight face.

“What?” A ‘lazar gasped in shock.

“What? You’re not going to help us?” Ra’el erupted, in anger.

“Yes” Potter said bluntly.

“WHY?” Ra’el roared.

“We aren’t going to blame you but what happened is your fault and since it’s your fault, you will handle this issue on your own” Agnes said calmly.

“What the he….” Ra’el shouted before A ‘lazar forcefully blocked his mouth causing him to mumble the remaining sentence.

“Thank you for your audience, we will be taking our leave now” A ‘lazar said, with an odd looking smile.

“Glad, we could agree” Salvark said.

Immediately, A ‘lazar angrily stomped out of the building while he viciously dragged Ra’el with him.

“Why did you stop me?” Ra’el angrily asked.

“You were being disrespectful” A ‘lazar said, not even sparing a glance at Ra’el.

“Whatever. What’s are next move?” Ra’el rudely asked.

“We’re heading over to the Capital of The United Continent, Camelot.” Sir A ‘lazar furiously said, as a he simply waved his right hand in the air, on turn creating a door shaped portal which glowed bright ember.

“Come on, let’s get going!” Sir A ‘lazar said, as he walked into the portal leaving Ra’el behind.

Ra’el followed suite and in a couple of seconds, They walked out through a similar portal which directly dropped them at their destination.

They were presently in the King’s inner chamber. Inside the room, Three men could be seen talking to each other, with one seated on a luxurious throne while the other two standing beside him, side by side. The one who sat on the throne was obviously The King while the man who stood by The King’s Left was donned in classic Medieval Knight armor while the latter wore a classic wizard rode.

“A ’lazar, what took you so long?” The King said, while he mischievously grinned.

“Would you care to join us” The Knight added.

“It will be my pleasure” Sir A ‘lazar said, with a wicked grin.
