Splashing cold water on my face, I plopped down on the bed. It was pathetic how the day was turning out to be. All I wanted was to have some alone time. So much for that. Even though I was hungry, I did not leave my room for brunch. The thought of seeing Jace after the things he said made my stomach turn. I know that he regretted them, but it still didn't make it right. As I was about to get up from my bed, a knock sounded on my door. Dread filled my stomach thinking it must be Alex.
