Chapter One

I was shaking as I was looking at the plane ticket it my hand, it's been two months since the r**e occurred. My parents thought it was best I leave Minnesota and head to London where my dads sister lives. James didn't get any jail time, which sucked. That's another reason why my parents were sending me away, they didn't want anything to happen to me again especially now that I'm pregnant. Yes you heard me, I am expecting a child with the mans child, I couldn't abort a baby. It wasn't their fault, I talked about it with my parents when I found out, they told me it was up to me and they would stand by me. Which they have, being 3 months pregnant I knew I'll be spending the next 6 without my mum or dad there. I know I can FaceTime them but it still isn't the same. I turned towards my parents who were waiting by the seats for me to enter the plane. I gave them one last smile before giving the women my ticket. I was still a little jumpy from the attack, making it a lot harder to leave in a crowded airport. I jumped at the sound of the ticket machine printing. I grabbed my ticket back once the lady told me it was all clear, I could feel her eyes on me. I wasn't watching where I was going as I got onto the plane as I began looking to where I needed to go. I turned around bumping into a man, spilling his coffee onto his suit. "Oh gosh I'm so sorry," I went through my handbags to get some tissues giving them to the man. "It's okay," the man chuckled. I didn't say anything as I was embarrassed by my actions, I just simply walked past him heading to first class. My parents knew I wouldn't be able to be seated next to someone I didn't know especially now. I bit my lip as I finally found my seat. Jumping once again at the loud sound of someone's laughter. I closed my eyes trying to get his laughter out of my mind, I took a deep breath before sitting in my seat. I knew people must think I'm crazy or something. My hands were shaking as I brought out my phone only to jump when I heard a voice next to me. "Nervous flyer?" The man asked. I looked over at him, it was the guy from earlier, "Something like that, how's your suit? Again I am so sorry." The man smiled gently, "It's okay, don't worry I kind of hate this suit anyway. It's not my favourite one." I couldn't help but laugh a little, something I haven't done in a few months, the man was seated across from me in the aisle. "Oh by the way my name is Harry Styles," Harry replied as he looked over at me. I frowned, knowing I've heard the name a dozen times before, "I'm Melissa, your name sounds very familiar." The sound started over the speaker of the plane, "This is the pilot speaking, we will be heading to London. Please buckle up and get ready for take up. The hostesses will go through the safety rules. Thank you for choosing Qantas today." The sound of the plane started to speed up, as the plane backed out of the park Harry looked at me and a small smile on his face like he was relived or something that I wasn't screaming or something, who was this guy? "I'm the CEO of Co Happy," Harry replied. "Oh, that's where I know your name. I think my Aunty works for you as the business manager," I replied, I remember my Aunty Alex telling me where she worked but I couldn't remember to CEO's name. Harry smiled, "What's your Aunty's name?" He asked gently. My heart started to pound as we continued to talk, I couldn't help but get a little worried. I shook my head knowing that we were on a plane and nothing could happen on here. Well I hoped. "My Aunty's name is Alex Summers," I replied after a few moments. "Are you okay?" He asked, he frowned seeing my actions. "Uh... yeah I'm fine thank you, sorry just been a long day is all," I replied. **** The plane landed at Heathrow airport in London, it was a massive airport. I wasn't expecting it to be so big and busy, I headed through the airport towards baggage claim to grab what I needed before seeing my Aunty Alex waiting there for me. She squealed as she saw me and came running towards me, at first I didn't notice she had ran, when she hugged me I couldn't help but tense up. "Oh my, I am so sorry," Alex said as she pulled away. "I'm so stupid, I shouldn't have ran, how are you feeling? How's everything? Your dad told me about you know the baby." I took a deep breath, as a lot of people were staring at me. The words filled my thoughts disgusting, useless, you deserved it. "I need to get out of here, please can we go?" I asked. Alex nodded and grabbed my suitcase when she saw it, "We will head to my apartment, I have everything set up for you." I nodded and followed Alex out towards the car part at the airport. We traveled up through the lift to get to level 3, we walked slowly to her car which was a nice Audi S3 Hatchback. "Nice car," I smiled as she unlocked it. Alex smiled gently, "Thank you, it's fairly knew, since I got a great pay rise at work." "That's great," I replied. Once we were inside, Alex started the car and drove back to her apartment complex. I do remember visiting Alex a few times a year when I was younger with mum and dad but we didn't go as much once they became full time doctors. I looked out the window, watching the car zoom past the trees, the green shining through, it had a glisten from the rain drops on them. I looked over at Alex who was concentrating on the road. "Thank you for taking me in, I know the circumstances aren't what you thought they would be, to the reasoning of me moving here," I spoke breaking the silence. Alex quickly looked over at me, "You don't need to thank me, we are family. Yes the circumstances aren't great but I actually squealed a little when I was told you were moving in with me, until your father told me what happened and why. But I do truly want you here."
