I listened to him talk about using me. I wanted to say yes for a place to call home. Then the thought that he was only using me for my power and the ability to be in the sun hit me.
“You just want to use me for your own gain,” the hurt was in my voice before I could control it. This vampire made my emotions uncontrollable.
“No my sweet little wolf, I am requesting your help for your freedom,” his voice was soothing to my tired brain.
Before I knew what was happening my towel had slipped down and I had no energy to catch it. My eyes opened to glowing emerald green eyes. I couldn’t fight him as he picked me up from the chair leaving the towel behind. His cool hands on my overheated body felt amazing and a moan slipped from my lips.
“Oh little wolf be careful I am trying to control myself here,” his groan vibrated me and I squirmed weakly.
“Aloysius,” his name slipped from my lips as I fell into a dark sleep.
When I woke up there was no one in the room. Once again I didn’t know how long I was asleep or in this god forsaken room. I tenderly got up and saw all my wounds had healed, no bruising or broken bones. I searched my mind for Bailey but couldn’t feel her, my wolf either healed me and left again, or I’ve been out for a long time.
“Blanch my little wolf your finally awake,” Aloysius’s gentle voice washed over me and I smiled.
“Al, I woke up a few minutes ago, how long have I been asleep,” I shivered realizing that my body and heart have already forgiven this vampire. My mind has not though, as flashbacks of the abuse went through it.
“Three days, your wolf made an appearance, she’s a feisty one,” his smile and low chuckle made me smile with him.
“Bailey is amazing, I miss her a lot, but I messed that up,” I sighed heavily wishing I had my best friend.
“I have to ask little wolf, how did you piss off your wolf so badly, she said it wasn’t her story to tell,” his voice soothed me into wanting to talk to him about everything.
Six months ago my pack turned their back on me. Before I could be banished I rejected my pack and ran. I fell for the Alpha’s youngest son, without meaning too. We were about to complete the mating bong not a care in the world about our mates who were waiting for us. Till his mate showed up, she bust into his room with wild eyes and a snarl.
She could feel everything we were doing. She immediately challenged me for her mate. I backed down immediately knowing a mate bond is supposed to be stronger then any bond out there. J.R. shocked us both when he started to reject her. I stopped him quickly telling him I didn’t want that.
His dad the Alpha heard and got so mad at me. I thought he was going to murder me right there. J.R. got between us to protect me. He ended up badly wounded and I rejected them that day. I’ve been on the run ever since. Bailey rejected me the day I ran saying it was all my fault.
Aloysius listened to my every word. As soon as I was done he wrapped his arms around me in a cool embrace. I felt his lips on my head and hot tears started to stream from my eyes.
“Little wolf I need you to listen to me,” he put his finger under my chin so I’d look at him.
“Ok,” I whisper entranced with his eyes.
“You did the right thing, the Alpha would have killed you, I am very proud of you,” he smiled and I swooned literally swooned.
“N-n-no one has told me they are proud of me before,” I stuttered shyly.
“Little wolf, I will forever be proud of you, and I will forever be making up for the wrong I have done you,” he whispered sadly to me.
“Is it weird that I already feel like I’ve forgiven you, it probably helps that your blood sucking henchman did all the damage,” I said reverently.
