LIFEGUARDS; THE REFLECTION

Kevin picked up his phone, in a shaking voice he said "hello."

It was a woman's voice, she said"I am calling from Tokyo medical and dental university, Japan. I am calling to officially inform and congratulate you on your admission into the university." Kevin was totally frozen until his mum collected the phone from him and thanked the person who called then disconnected. Kevin kept asking his mum, "did I just get admitted into my dream university?".

Kevin started preparing for school immediately, He informed his friends who are already at school. Jane and Tessa are presently at university of Toronto studying nursing while Q is studying at NYU grossman school of medicine studying medicine.

Isabella has recovered greatly, and started preparing for the college entrance exams again.

Few weeks later Kevin left for school, when he arrived everything was looking new to him in the beautiful city of Tokyo, he was trying so hard to adapt and at the same time trying to make new friends.

Few years later, we see everyone in the group all grown up, Kevin, Q, Tessa and Jane and isabella graduated already, they all met at canada for a get together, which was doing ok, the laughed and shared memories of their experience back at school. Kevin suddenly started seeing visions of being in white like a soldier, he stood up and left them saying he was going to the rest room. When he entered the rest room, he faced the mirror and to his utmost surprise he could see his reflection as himself in the amour, he gasped in shock, he was about leaving the restroom when a hand came out of the mirror trying to pull him in but he dodged unknowingly.

When he went back to his table he met his friends talking and laughing and having fun, he was so pleased with what he was seeing. Q turned to him and asked when he's going to propose to Tessa and the all laughed at his reaction but then he said very very soon and Tessa blushed hearing that.

On their way back to the hotel they talked about jace and the other dimension and Isabella was alarmed hearing that to everyone's surprise. Q asked her why she was so shocked like she did something bad she just smiled in an awkward manner, Q was still staring at her suspiciously.

When they got back to their hotels they girls were in a room while the boys where in another so they got time to catch up with each other. Later that night Kevin called Tessa out asking for a wake around the area and she agreed, dressed up and left with him. When they we're together Kevin asked if she could still propose and she said he could and they both smiled. Kevin told her about the visions he's been having and the reflection on the mirror, Tessa asked if it ever occurred when he was in medical school and he denied which kept her thinking what could be the cause and who is the reflection because according to what Kevin said it looks like him but its a whole different person, he added like it felt like it was trapped and trying to go out. Tessa told him to avoid mirrors for now and he obeyed.

On their was back Kevin stood in front of Tessa and smiled then he said he know s they have known each other for years now and they have been together even if they we're schooling in different countries he knows his feelings cannot be a lie since he never liked any other girl after all their years of being apart, Tessa was already crying and she said yes She'll marry him and asked for her ring by putting out her hands, Kevin burst into laughter asking her if she couldn't be a little patient for him to conclude his speech and they both continued laughing. He gave her the ring and they both kissed.

When they both entered the hotel everywhere was dark and it became bright all of a sudden with posters everywhere saying congratulations on your engagement. Kevin asked Q what they would have done if he was rejected and everybody laughed hearing that and they all said its impossible.

They all retired to their rooms for the night, the girls spent hours admiring Tessa's ring. While Kevin disclosed the matter to Q and asked for his advise, Q also asked if he saw anything weird during his years of study and he opened up to Q that he had the same dream every night about a knight in white, and he started to see them in visions and on mirrors during their get together. Q advised him to avoid mirrors at all cost and try to reach jace since he's the only one that's able to summon him. Kevin explained how he's tried all this years and it failed and added that he felt stronger when Tessa was close and the both stared at each other like they are close to figuring everything out.

The next morning they planned to go on a trip to see the beautiful places in Toronto, during their trip Q kept lurking around Isabella and they all gave the new couple some alone time when they we're alone when Jane left to buy Ice cream, Q asked Isabella what she's hiding and Isabella just kept staring at him like he's not there he asked again and she replied that she's ran away from her home which is far away and she's here because of Kevin. Q asked her if she likes Kevin and informed her he's engaged and he refuses to sit around and watch her destroy their relationship, Isabella replied of course he likes Kevin

Q stared at her alarmed. Before he could say another word Jane returned with ice cream for everybody, Q kept staring at isabella and she acted so natural like she did nothing wrong.

When they returned to the hotel, Q called Tessa and told her to be wary of Isabella which left Tess confused because Q refused to give her a reason to be, She obeyed through. When they all retired to their rooms that's night the girls decided to do truth and dear using a bottle, Jane flipped the bottle first. When she flipped it, it was pointing at Isabella, Tessa asked her what's her biggest secret and she replied that she's came from somewhere far away and she's here to find someone precious to her, Tessa asked who and she replied that she's done answering her question.

Everything was awkward because of Tessa's question so Jane decided to change the topic and asked if they should watch a movie instead and they both agreed. Jane brought out her laptop and they decided to watch "the little mermaid." When they we're watching the movie, Jane told them if they could understand how it feels to be separated from your loved one by a loved one and Isabella replied"I can totally relate."

Tessa turned to her and asked her "how can you relate exactly." She didn't utter a word they both kept staring at each other until Jane broke the silence and asked "who's hungry."

Kevin and Q kept trying to using different means and method to communicate with jace but nothing seemed to be working. He left the room saying he wanted to take a shower

Initially all the mirrors in the room was removed beforehand. When he entered, he decided to use the bath tub and when he entered he saw a reflection of himself, nothing though so he said to him self "its ok."when he was done and came out of the bathtub he turned to carry his phone and he saw the warrior in white when he stared at the water he stood there utterly surprised.

A hand came out of the bathtub and held his hand and dragged him into the bathtub and he vanished leaving his phone lying on the floor. Q heard the sound of something fall so he ran into the bathroom and saw Kevin's phone on the floor and Kevin missing. Q was alarmed, He ran out of the room and went straight to the girls room.

He barged into the room and asked Tessa, "where's kevin. " on hearing that, Tessa understood what was going on and ran out of the room to look for Kevin with tears already flowing down her face, she kept searching but found nothing.

Q explained to Jane and Isabella what was going on, Isabella started crying immediately and Q confirmed that she well aware of what was going on all this time.

Jane asked Isabella in a curious manner "Are you aware that this would happen", immediately she answered that she was sorry.

Q asked her how exactly is she sorry and what did she do exactly, she kept saying she was sorry then Tessa barged into to room and placed a knife on her asking her to explain in details what she means by she was sorry.

she then uttered "he's my brother."

Q said in a loud voice "how his he your brother exactly." Everyone else kept staring at her speechlessly. Tessa dropped the knife from her hand immediately...
