Alexander’s POV

I am currently waiting for Ava in the jewelry store. I know I have reached a bit early unlike our first date! Here she comes, simple yet elegant. I search for the ring that could suit her personality and my eyes get stuck on one of them. The ring is a platinum band with a diamond studded in between, just like her, simple yet alluring. I am not sure if she’ll like my choice, I show the ring to her and she is rapid enough to ask for wrapping it up, I have not seen her this happy and excited. She nervously hands me the ring she selected for me, it radiates warmth and I take it which makes her even happier. She jumps up to hug me but stops and I couldn’t help a chuckle which makes her blush and smirk after saying that I am all hers, she tries to hide from me which causes me to chuckle more, not to embarrass her more I take her hand and walk of the store. I plan to take her on a lunch date, we will be able to spend some quality time and with so many things coming up our way, not sure when we’ll get to have one. But she hesitantly tells me that she has plan to visit Mother’s Care. Even better! I will get to see her all lively with the kids. I arrange for a buffet and she is smiling from ear to ear which makes me content.

I am now standing on the stage waiting for Ava to come. Xave is my best man along with Liam, Claire was on my side all along but changed her party when we entered the marriage hall. She’s bridesmaid to Ava along with Sam. I see Ava walking up to the aisle with Uncle James, I could not take my eyes off her. She’s looking breathtakingly beautiful. I am way too nervous and mask off with my cold expressions. Uncle James says something to Ava to which she just nods in understanding, I watch her every move and extend my hand when she reaches the stage. She smiles at me and I couldn’t stop the shaking of my hand, she takes my hand and finds it shaking. She looks up to me and holds it more tightly which relaxes me. I am in daze looking at her when I hear the crowd shouting out at me to kiss her. Kiss Her?! I pull her closer to me holding her by waist, her cheeks are filled with cherry color. I so want to kiss on her lips and claim her mine, I have been wanting to do this since long, but I have to give her some time. I don’t want to rush things, so I kiss on her forehead.

I bring her to my house, after the wedding party is over. We both are tired, she seems more though. “I’ll show you your room, we can take the tour of house tomorrow. You look really tired” “ok, sure” “This is your room, my room is next to yours tell me if you need anything” I say as we enter the room and she nods. She’s way too quiet, probably missing her family. “You can get changed now, I’ll take my leave” I don’t want to leave her, should I stay? Walking up to the door I think. I turn around to see that she has already started taking off the earrings that she wore, with her back on me. I stroll towards her “Ava” she turns and is startled at the close proximity between us. I bring her closer to me, and run my hands up her back to hold her, she shivers at my touch. “Good Night Ava” I kiss her forehead “I’ll go now, sleep tight” With that I finally exit the room and move towards mine. I take shower and try to sleep, but I am engulfed by all thoughts of her, I want her sleeping by my side. How long do I have to wait? I don’t know when I fall asleep thinking of her.

Sun is shining brightly outside, but I woke up at smelling pancakes, they are my favorite. I freshen up quickly and march towards the kitchen. I see Ava making pancakes, her wet hair falling over the shirt she’s wearing and she’s not wearing anything else under it. It’s mine? Where did she get it? And hell she’s looking so hot. I move towards her she senses it and turns towards me “Good Morning beautiful!” I say as I kiss on her cheeks, she blushes so hard and replies smiling “Morning, I’ll bring the pancakes over you take your seat please” I obey as she says and watch her. How did I become so lucky? She soon brings up the pile of pancakes with two plates for both of us. “Sorry I borrowed your shirt from the laundry. My bags did not arrive yesterday, not sure why?” she says blushing first and frowning after that. “You can wear them every day, you look beautiful in everything you wear. And for your luggage, sorry I forgot to inform it is kept in my room, I’ll bring them over to you” “Thanks, by what time you start your day?” “I wake up at 7, and start for office at 8:30 and you?” “I start at 6, and by 8 I am at Mother’s Care, most of the days leaving only those where I have to attend 9 AM meetings at the office. And I reach office by 10. I plan to be at office now by 11, after you leave I’ll also leave to start off my day” “I can wake up early with you and sync up with your timings” “No, I think its high time I let other’s take responsibility, I have given it a thought and decided to do this. I’ll be back by 7 in the evening in worst case scenarios, and will inform if otherwise.” “That’s a good idea. I’ll try to be back by 7 starting tomorrow” she nods at it “Even if you don’t I understand” she smiles and assures me “Thanks Ava” I see her hesitating to ask something “Ava, what is it?” “What?” she asks confused “You want to ask me something? Or tell me something? Say it, I don’t bite” At this she chuckles a little but then nervously says “Umm, Can we have breakfast and dinner together? If it’s not a bother to you?” “I would love that Ava, and don’t hesitate to even order me in future ok? Am all yours now!” She smiles and looks down to hide blush creeping her cheeks “ok”.

Breakfast went well, I moved her luggage to her room. I had already informed everyone that I won’t be coming to office today and so did Ava. We decided to watch movies and get to know more about each other. I took the chance and held her hands all the time, kissing her knuckles in between. Aunt Rose prepared the lunch and brought us over to us in Ava’s room. Time passed quickly, we discussed about school and college days, our family, but no business talks. After dinner I gave a tour of our house to Ava. It was already time to sleep, I accompanied Ava to her current room. “Ava, can we sleep together?” it came out more bluntly than I had expected. Ava’s face was all flushed “Don’t get me wrong, by sleep I means just sleep ok?” I clarified if she misunderstood “I know what you meant, and yes” was all she said she quickly went inside the washroom to freshen up before bed. I laid down on my side waiting for her to come. She came out and swiftly moved to her side of the bed and put her back to me “Good night” she said softly “Night” I said moving my front to her back. Why is it so hot in here? I turn around to the other side and try to sleep but couldn’t. I turn again and pull Ava to my chest while she stirs in them “I will have a good night now” kissing her forehead I say to her, she relaxes soon and hums in response. We both fall asleep soon.
