Alexander’s POV

I have back to back meetings, though I make some time to eat my lunch because of continuous texts from Ava. It is already 8 and I am still in the office, Ava might be waiting for me. “Gentlemen, my wife would be waiting for me. I have to be with her. So it will be better if we continue this tomorrow?” “We are happy to see you like this Alex” one of the oldest Board member says “Sure Alex, we will continue rest tomorrow, go ahead and enjoy” all the board members continue exiting one by one “Alex, I hope you bringing your mystery wife tomorrow to the party” “I will, when does the party start?” “We will confirm on your arrival tomorrow, will it be ok for you?” “Sure, good night then”.

I move out of the meeting room to find Brax waiting up for me “Sir, you need to sign one of the document, I have already kept it on your desk, please take a look, I will escort the guests out till then” “Thanks Brax”. I enter my office and as soon as the door closes I hear someone shot and I am scared as hell. I see the owner of the sound and laugh immediately when I see it is Ava. She has come to pick me up. After this, we make our way to home. Have dinner and cuddle up.

Next Morning I woke up to find Ava not beside me I frown at this, but when I sit up, I see her on the desk checking out some files “Good Morning beautiful” I kiss her on forehead and not disturbing her I get to my routine. When I am all ready, I walk downstairs and find Ava setting the plates and emptying the waffles. I tell her to ask Aunt Rose to prepare the breakfast but she’s reluctant to agree to it and pouts again. I would not be able to stop myself from taking her here itself, I warn her and she immediately stops. We have our breakfast and move our ways not after wishing goo day.

I have been busy all day. Could not see my phone even. Brax just informed me that the function will start at 6. When I am done I see it is already 5, there are no messages from Ava. She will be late. I get ready in office itself and leave for the venue by 5:30. I Am about to reach the venue, but I get a call from the organizer to make the entry by 6:30, as the security needs to be tightened a bit, because it’s all over newspapers that I will be bringing my wife making paparazzi go crazy, and they have arrived in enormous numbers. I don’t think Ava will be able to make it. I reach the venue by 6:30 and get down alone, instantly I am flooded with questions about my wife, when I am about to say something. Uncle Dave opens up the passenger’s door to the side have walked by, and I turn to look what he is doing.

Ava gets down from my own car. I am astonished! How is that even possible? Ava walks up to my side, and holds my hands, this brings me back to earth. I have smile all over my face I take in her appearance, mesmerizing as ever, the dress is hugging her just at the right places and wine color suits her personality too, I kiss her in front of all the media, all the people present there. I could not help this time, and to my surprise she kisses me back. The flashing of cameras bring us back from the stance. I held up her closely by her waist and walk along with her. “Meet my wife Ava Knight” “She is the CEO of Williams enterprises” “She is daughter of the James Williams” “The owner of various NGO’s holding a franchisee too” Media is erupted with their own questions and their own answers.
