Chapter 16 : Getting Married
Ryan and Alaric were shocked at Megan's outburst. None of them expected it. They didn't even know she had it in her. She was always milk and non-confrontational.
Ryan quickly grabbed Megan and placed her by his side as if he wanted to protect her from Alaric. Seeing this, Alaric chuckled softly. This would be the second time he witnessed Megan going off on someone. He was eavesdropping at her door the previous night and saw how she nearly pounced on Elvira's father when the man called her a liar. If anyone told him that he would be her next victim, Alaric would have rolled his eyes at them. He didn't see it coming at all. But instead of feeling insulted, he was actually thrilled and relieved.
Aaah, she will be fine.
