While there are three types of Alphas, there are only two types of Omegas. The ordinary Omegas and the Lunas.
Lunas are the embodiment of the Moon mother in wolf form. It is said that a pack where a Luna surfaces is a blessed pack. The life of a Luna cannot be taken. The only way to kill a Luna is to absorb their power, then kill them. Since a fully developed Luna is even more powerful than a True Alpha, the only person who can absorb their powers is a Supreme Alpha.
