It’s been a long night. Twist had to leave the flat right away, not wanting to leave his mate Above for too long. Lily and Vile took a shaken and pale Arietta upstairs – apparently, she already has a room ready and waiting for her – helping her find the bath and whatever else she might need to adjust. She seems happy enough, now that she knows we aren’t going to kill her.
Diego came back downstairs to tell us Gannet is recovering and resting. He apparently had a back full of iron debris, which I learn is a particular weakness to fairy kind, as it hinders their magic and healing ability. Which is weird because I could have sworn Twist usually wears a crown made of hammered iron.
