Adrian stilled, his eyes fixed on her. Tears were streaming down her face, her eyes shut tightly. Hearing her words, he was dazed for a second, before his eyes turned cold. "You didn't read the contract," He stated.
Gina snapped her eyes opened, meeting his dark gaze. She lowered her head guiltily and slowly shook her head.
"Why did you sign it then?"
"I... I..." Gina trailed off. How could she tell him that she had guessed what was in the contract and without thinking twice, signed it in her moment of ecstasy.
Adrian studied her for a second, scoffed, and stepped back. "Read the contract, and don't even think of leaving this place."
And with that said, he left.
