The Burial

'Huh?' 'That was...' His eyes bulged because he was way too surprised right now. Not only was he surprised by the fact that he heard some weird and probably creepy but yet sweet voice in his head but also he was surprised by the term 'Dead' and 'human body' that was used. "Vinno?" "Pardon me master but I have no idea about this Vinno thing...", the girl replied with a low voice while bowing her head yet again. "He is not a thing, he is a human.", what she said sounded a bit rude to Jay due to which he raised his voice a bit. "Ah, pardon me master for my ignorance, but if you meant the human who was killed by HIS minions then yes, it's one which is wrapped in that clothing..." When he heard the girl say that, he was startled. He almost immediately walked towards Vinno's body and lifted the red cloth that was covering the body. Indeed, the face was quite familiar to him. He could almost immediately tell that it was none other than Vinno. Though, his hands and legs were missing, his body was still there. There were marks of him getting choked by the rope but oh well, the main point was that Vinno was now dead. 'No way...' This came as a great shock to Jay because it was him who forced Vinno to take this case which meant that he was the one responsible for Vinno's death. He was quite shocked and he could almost faint because of that, however he stayed firm and didn't show any change in emotion because right now there was a vampire near him. He realized the fact that she had been calling him master. He thought that she might have mistaken him as someone else, regardless, he knew that if he were to shock even a  small opening, he would end up in the same state as that of Vinno. However, he was quite angry. His blood was literally boiling because of this since the vampires were taking away things from him which were quite dear to him. "Where are the ones who killed them?", Jay looked back towards the girl and asked. His eyes were shinning with Crimson red light. The moment the gaze fell on the girl, chill ran down her spine. "M-master..." "Actually, they went away long back...", she said in a low voice. "..." "Then who are those that dared to harm me?" "Weren't they the ones that did this to Vinno?", Jay asked. "Master, they are just plebeians. They weren't aware about you so they overstepped their boundaries..." "Also, we have been bound by the law because of which we can't kill humans so they wouldn't have deliberately killed that thing in such a manner..." What she said was completely right, the vampires who punctured Jay's abdomen did panic when they realized that he was nothing more than a human. It seemed like they were indeed bound with some law so that definitely assured that they might not have been tormented or tortured Vinno in such a manner so as to rip his arms and legs! "Then who was it?" "You mentioned something like 'His Minions' right?", Jay asked. "Yes master, I mentioned that..." "I was trying to tell you about the Overlord of South...", she said in a clam tone. "Overlord...? Of South?", Jay was surprised when he heard those words. Of course, he didn't know what they meant. However, he knew for sure that there was someone put there who disregarded the law and killed the only person who had listened to Jay's request! "Please master, allow me to escort you to the mansion and after you feel refreshed, I'll tell you about all these things...", she said humbly while smiling a bit. Jay didn't want to go with her because he could smell trouble by following a vampire. However, in order to survive he had to go there, also for some reason he wanted to find out about the voice that he had been hearing in his head for a while. "Yes, but I want to give him a proper burial...", he said. She nodded her head right after which she picked her phone and then dialed a number. "Come here immediately!", he voice was so smooth and enchanting and it sounded cute till now, but when she used the phone to call someone, her voice became rather deep. "Yes your highness?", suddenly a man appeared from the windows Jay was completely startled when he saw the man appearing but he didn't give any noteworthy reactions. "Find a suitable place to bury that things and-", she said everything there was to about the burial and made it a bit quick because she wanted Jay to come to the mansion which she had prepared. She was quite cold to the man who had white hair on his head and white beard. He wore glasses too with round frame. He seemed quite old but was still muscular needless to say, he looked like a typical butler while wearing the black uniform. He then turned towards Jay and walked right after which he lifted Vinno's body and went back to the car and moved to a place for burial. Soon Vinno was buried near the neighborhood where Jay lived. It was done quite quickly and then he was soon asked to sit in the long black car in order to go to the mansion. The girl opened the back door and Jay sat immediately. Since it was night time, no one say him coming and leaving. Regardless, he was now sitting inside the car and the girl too sat inside. She then looked at him and then said, "I'm so happy that you will be coming back to us master..." Her eyes were filled with tears of Joy and it was quite evident. Her red dress which she wore that suited rather well while showing her curvy body was drenched with the tears too. "Yes...", he still didn't know if what he was doing was the right thing. Anyway, he didn't desire anything more for the time being. His mind was blank and he just went in the flow. "By the way, what's your name?", he asked.  "Roselia Van Scroriolivor, that's my name master...", she said with a beautiful smile on her face. "..." To be continued...
