"I'll fill you in later." I link Billie and Alexa.
They exchanged a skeptical look but nodded in agreement, trusting that I would share the details when the time was right. We decided to move on with the day, the group dispersed and our friends made their way to our security center while Tristan, Dallas and I made our way to where we left Amara. The afternoon stretched on, the anticipation of Amara's return from the Oracle altar hanging heavy in the air. We waited at the guardian tree with bated breath, our hearts pounding with a mixture of hope and apprehension. When Amara finally emerged from the depths of the forest, she appeared unchanged physically, but there was a subtle shift in her aura that hinted at a newfound inner strength.
