The next morning, the golden rays of the sun filtered through the curtains, gently coaxing me awake. I blinked sleepily, feeling the warmth of Tristan's body beside me. His steady breathing and the soft rise and fall of his chest reminded me of the peace I found in his presence. Stretching my limbs, I sat up and glanced at the clock on the nightstand.
