We arrived at the packhouse entrance just as Jill had returned from getting herself a coffee.
"Hey, Jill, how was your day with Macey?" I asked her as she joined me in step.
"Hey, Alpha. It was really good, we went over different training strategies and talked all things Delta." she said with a wink.
"Well, at least you are keeping busy. I'm sure it wasn't easy living at Mystic Moon and being unable to perform the role you're used to for so long."
"Yeah, it was tough, but I knew it was for the best. And besides, Macey and Zayne are amazing Deltas. If they were around when I was in my prime, I'm sure they'd give me a good run for my money." She laughed as we walked through the backdoors of the packhouse and into the courtyard. Everyone took a seat to relish in some of the evening sun.
