Cardwell had left and I felt like I could finally breathe a sigh of relief. I knew he was looking for information but I was able to keep it from him even though he prodded and poked my buttons the best he could. As of yet he had not seen me use my powers here in the castle and I was confident he thought I did not know about them currently. I did not know how long I could keep him at bay though.
