The downside of being lucky

Getting to know a friend

Waking up today was very hard because my body was still sore from exhaustion, I of the bed and did my hygiene morning process, I wore my my black jeans and a plain white tshirt. I made my way to the kitchen and found Sofia Vergara herself making breakfast for me

Me: Good morning Miss Vergara

Sofia: Morning hunny, i made you an English breakfast

Me: Thank you so much you know I could eat a whole cow right now I'm f&cking hungry

Sofia: Now eat that food we have a lot to do today

Me: We do?

Sofia: We have to go for shopping for new clothes and a new cellphone we will buy a Laptop when we have to go to school

Oh no she doesn't know I'm from a poor family and that I only got lucky, omfg how will I tell her that I don't even have a penny on me

Sofia: Ammy!!

Me: Uh what?

Sofia: You zoned out for a bit, are you alright?

Me: Can I tell you about myself first before you invest too much in me

Sofia: Okay I am listening

I told Sofia about where I am from , I told her about my father, told her about all the racial issues I had and I also told her about my financial problems. She had tears in her eyes by the time I finished telling her about my life she gave me a bone crushing hug letting me know that everything is alright

Me: So I can't really go shopping but I can be your accomplice and go chill with you

Sofia: Of course you'll come with me silly and don't worry about the bills I'll take care of everything

Me: I really cannot accept that but thanks for the offer.

Sofia: Okay I'll just let it be for now but you know at the store I won't take no for an answer

I laughed at Sofia's boldness because she never gave up after doing the dishes I went to my room to wear my sneakers and Sofia was wearing exactly like me

We did shopping and Sofia bought fancy clothes, body hugging short dresses, casual clothes, heels, brand name sneakers and the latest iPhone for me. To say I am happy is an understatement

Me: So tell me about the real Sofia Vergara

Sofia: Well there's nothing much to say except that I am part of a very huge family 8 cousin's, 4 brother's and my mom and dad. We had a very joyful childhood hod and we have everything so it really was not eventful. The first born is 34 years old, the second born is 29 year's old , I'm 19 and the last born is 15

Me: You are very lucky sis

Sofia: And now I also have you in my life

I smiled at her and continued eating my meal after we were done Sofia drove us home and we left the shopping bags. After a few minutes we left so we could tour our campus and made our way home again. We got home and now we are sitting in the lounge setting up my phone while having wine and small talks

Sofia: Tomorrow we are going to my family dinner so I can introduce you as my new friend and I'm not taking no for an answer

Me: Are we wearing casually or fancy?

Sofia: We'll were casually

Me:Okay I can't wait to meet your family. Goodnight sis
