The EEG test was a drag. My father was getting impatient besides me. "Mr B, please sit still. We're almost done," the doctor said quietly. My father huffed, grumbling under his breath. "You know, your son's more behaved than you are," "I'm not good at sitting still, Connor. Cut me some slack," my father said. He switched to another language, one that I didn't understand. The doctor replied in English. "I bet Miles would say the same thing," "He's not my boyfriend." My father gritted his teeth. "Why does everyone say that?" "I don't know, perhaps because you've been sneaking around a lot lately. Miles too," "Why are ya'll all up in my business? Seriously, it's annoying. And if you must know, he's been...helping me sneak off," "Ahh, so there is a guy," the doctor said knowingly.
