She was in the bunk of her catamaran sailboat docked at the marina where she often retreated to drink good scotch and escape from the complaints about high taxes, yard debris, and non-responsive government, and those were just the complaints of her drunk and worthless husband. Pauline was the county manager, a rarity for a woman in this part of the world, and every now and then she needed to get away, and her catamaran was just the place.
