Calum was eternally grateful that the sea was tame and beautiful that day. The tiny wreck of a boat that was keeping them afloat looked like it was moments away from falling apart. They came to a stop in the middle of nowhere, or at least it seemed like the middle of nowhere to Calum. All he could see in any direction he looked was endless blue ocean.  As he looked around he noticed that both Zen and her Father had small irritated patches of red skin all over their bodies. Zen followed his gaze as she scratched at one of the patches. “It’s the spray from the ocean, the seawater is triggering our transformation.” Zen explained, but Calum just nodded and looked away. Zen’s Father threw an anchor overboard and once he was satisfied that they weren't going anywhere he pulled off his shirt. B
