Mason ran his fingers through Ciara's hair while his other arm was around her body. They were laying down on their bed and enjoying the silence of the dim room after Ciara had told him what had happened. Her head was resting on his chest that covered his beating heart, the same heart that was beating in anger. Ciara had urged him not to do anything that would cause him trouble and he had to oblige.
