Nora pulled her phone down from her ear and clutched it with shakey hands. She shut her eyes so tight when she felt the cold hands of her girlfriend on her arms. She turned around and hugged her blonde haired girlfriend tightly as they stood in a hospital's hallway.
"Everything will be fine. No one expected it to happen, babe," her girlfriend, Leila said as she ran her hands up and down Nora's back.
"How can I break this news to her, Leila? I know she hates him but I think he has suffered enough with the treatment. I'm not blaming anyone but if the universe wanted to hurt him, not in this damn way. He could've died," Nora said in a hoarse voice with her head buried in the crook of Leila's neck.
