Mason cracked his eyes open slowly as the chirping of birds outside got to his ears. He yawned and rubbed his face with his hand then looked down at Ciara who was still fast asleep beside him. She was curled up with her fist close to her face and her other hand between her laps, a sign that she was cold. He shook his head and took the thick blanket that was at her feet and covered her up. She sighed and smiled a bit. "Funny," he muttered and rose from the mattress, went to his duffel bag and pulled out his toothbrush and toothpaste then walked out with a bottle water. He stopped at the entrance of the tent and looked down at his watch, 5:25am and just a few countable persons were around. He shrugged and proceeded to a corner in the woods where he saw some persons brushing their teeth.
