Two days have gone by since she left the commander’s office. Even though she had promised to avoid the commander at all cost, she has not seen the commander again. The chiefs were also nowhere in sight and the commanders of the foot soldiers too. If she was not careful, she wouldn’t have noticed the empty tents and the occasional soldier that were brought into the camp, injured. Perhaps the rumored war was upon them, or was it training? No, that’s impossible. While some of the recruits tend to injure themselves occasionally in training, the older soldiers were more inclined with the training brutality and rarely sustains any injury. They were not even subjected to some of the dangerous training of the recruits. So it made no sense why they were coming back with lots of casualties.
