CHAPTER FOURTEEN Bo met me at the top of the stairs. “You get the deal?” he asked. I didn't notice that he hadn't followed me down. The lobby was empty except for us. The candles burning in the air were a good change from the bitter chemical smell downstairs. After a quick glance around, I said, “I got the deal. But we’ll have to wait a little while.” “I hope I don't get one of the two bodies in visitation right now,” Bo said. “Two elderly ladies. Unless you want me to kick a*s with a walker.” I laughed.
