Chapter 14 First Attack

Lady Annie is soundly sleeping in her bed as if no bad things occurred; Siana is holding her hands while she stays by her side, staring at her worriedly.
I'm aware of what happens to her; Lady Annie's dark raging energy and I’m certain Siana saw that too.
I'm not aware of the reason I remain in this place to anticipate for Lady Annie to awaken but I’m curious what she be like when she arose.
Master Arruis is immersed roaming outside for possible dark evasion he doubts that been around.
I'm frightened for Ruininki, I'm conscious he is around and I can still sense his energy; I desire that Master Arruis didn’t find him.
Lady Annie soundly laying in her bed, Lady Annie fingers move an inch and Siana quickly reacts
“Lady Annie” she sweetly calls
Lady Annie slowly opens her eyes, she blinks and stare at the ceiling for some time and blinks again until her eyes start to roam around.
Siana calls her “Lady Annie” her concern voice get the lady attention
Lady Annie quickly gets up and half-bow at Siana “My Princess what are you doing here?”, she is quite startled.
Siana gladly smiles and held her hand “Lady Annie I came to visit you. I’m here with my twin sister” Siana look at me “Mia” she continues talking
Lady Annie turn to my direction and half bowed “Princess Mia”, she wanted to stand up but her legs are still weak, she stumbles.
Siana quickly assist her “stay on your bed Lady Annie, your still weak”
“Princess Siana is right Annie, take your rest” Lady Jones finally speak, Lady Annie is quite surprised.
“Lucie” Lady Annie soft voice, “you’re here, how come?”
“The Princesses asks me to come; Princess Siana told me you referred me to her as her tailor. The Princesses goes that far to let me know about your situation that you’re sick and you wanted to give your regards” Lady Lucie Jones smile at her.
Lady Annie is shaking as she Lady Jones goes near her, she hugs her friend and smile.
“I’m glad your okay, you scared me” Lady Jones expresses her fear
Lady Annie confused “Why what happens?” she asks curiously
“You are different a while ago, you are not yourself. You are throwing things on us and your appearance is scary, you are strong and can carry heavy things” Lady Jones tries to remind her what happens but her face doesn’t show that she remembers it.
“I don’t know, I don’t remember anything” Lady Annie confess
“Do you remember what happens to you the whole day?” Lady Jones query
“ I’m always sick but one of my neighbors came to me and give me medicines, she said it is given to him by a kind stranger and it will make me well. I take the medicine and I feel dizzy, I don’t remember everything after that.” Lady Annie explains
Siana and Lady Jones take glances at each other, Helene retrieve their attention as she speaks;
‘Do you happen to know who gives the medicine?” Helene curious
“No, I didn’t. My neighbor gives it to me” Lady Annie consistent answer.
“The medicine, is there anything left?” Helene asks as if she is an investigator.
Lady Annie forcing to remember what she does, she closes her eyes to remember.
“In the drawer” her eyes still closed as she remembers
Helene goes to the drawer to check and see the tablets of medicine, she brings it out and reveals it to us. It is a transparent capsule with color purple powder inside.
I draw near to scrutinize closely as I saw the capsules my eyes widen “It is the capsule that I bought in the pharmacy but the content of the transparent gel is not the same, it suppose to be color yellow and it is liquid not powder, and not purple. The brand name of the gel capsule still engraves in the gel capsule which makes me shivers, It is the name of the brand capsule I bought in the pharmacy at the Other World, Atracia City. I gasp, I can’t, my eyes widen in surprise as everyone look at me surprised
“Why? What is the matter, Mia?” Siana inquire concerned
I try to regain my focus and shrugs away my thoughts,
“I remember something, It’s nothing” I lied
Siana grab Lady Annie hand “don’t take this medicine again”
Siana gets the medicine and called Lady Helene
“Lady Helene this is a serious matter, I ask for the palace to investigate what kind of medicine is this that causes Lady Annie outrage.” Siana gives the medicine to Helene, my eyes trails in it suddenly my heart palpitates, I feel nervous.
“What if they find out?”
“What if they find out Ruininki can pass through the barrier that Queen Leonor has made?”
“What if they know Ruininki lurking around”
“I’m scared”
All those emotions slowly eating me and consuming my mind,
Master Arruis came right in time, my twin sister is pre-occupied about the situation,
My hand unconsciously touch my chest as I take a deep breath, Helene’s surprised me as she speaks by my side
“What’s the matter, Princess Mia?”
“Why are you trembling?” Lady Helene asks concerned, I stare at my hands and it’s shaking.
I take a deep breathe and control my reflex, I close my fist
“I’m fine, I’m tired. Aren’t we going back to the palace; it’s late?” I try to divert the topic
“Yes, don’t worry Princess, we will go back to the Palace. Arruis is clearing the area to make sure it is safe then we can leave” Lady Helene's voice is calm, she holds me by her arm, almost half hugging me.
I and Siana grew up with Helene loving care, she impulsively acts concern whenever one of us feels trouble.
I know Helene felt that I’m undergoing an anxiety attack, her warm arms make me calm.
The medicine is in Helene’s pocket, I can snatch it from her now that she was so close. I stretch my hand and slowly creep my fingers in the hem of her pocket, Lady Helene still half hugging me.
My fingers layers in the linen of her pocket, I know I have to be careful but to my dismay, Lady Helene quickly stands up when Master Arruis return from patrolling the area.
“Arruis what happens?’ Lady Helene asks
“I roam around the whole area and no one is there; Princesses I think the place is safe and we can go back to the Palace now” Master Arruis proclaimed,
“The King and Queen is waiting for us” Master Arruis remind them
Princess Siana seems reluctant to leave Lady Annie but my mind float somewhere else, I didn’t steal the medicine from Helene’s pocket successfully.
Lady Lucie Jones read Siana’s worries, she intervenes in the talk “Princesses don’t worry I will take care of my friend Annie and make sure she is fine”
Siana held Lady Jone's hand “Take care both of yourselves, Lady Jones. We still didn’t know what happens to Lady Annie. I hope it doesn’t occur anymore”
“I will Princess Siana” Lady Jones persuades her,
Lady Annie still weak and she lay in her bed “I’m fine Princess Siana, you have done so much for me today, please rest” Lady Annie soft-spoken for the reason she still weak, it’s hard for her to mouthed every word.
Siana force a smile and bid her farewell, she held her hand into mine as she says,
“We were heading back to the Palace, please take care” Siana turn to me and say
“Let’s go, Mia”
I walk with her, Master Arruis is walking ahead of us, open the door for us as we go outside the house.
Helene follows us, she at our back. Master Arruis open the carriage for us.
Master Arruis maneuvers the carriage and Helene sits by his side.
My senses are strong but I can’t feel Ruininki energy, he might be hiding back in the Forbidden Forest.
The medicine that Siana got from Lady Annie, that capsule I bought from the Other World, Atracia City but the content is different.
I wonder if Ruininki has something to do with this, I was stunned that I forgot I left the medicine in his place. This is not what I desire for the medicine to be used. I don’t know how Ruininki change it’s content to the purple powder. I wanted to help the citizen of Querencia heal and recover faster by drinking those medicines from the Other World, Atracia City. I'm aware that the advanced technology in the field of medicine from the Other World can help our citizen strengthen their immune system and be healthy.
I have no idea what is Ruininki's intention but it puzzles me. I saw how Lady Annie change her looks, she is scary and has that unbelievable strength.
If the medicine made her that way, if that is Ruininki's intention maybe I should believe he is bad.
My hands are fidgeting on our way home, the King and Queen are waiting for us while Helene’s son welcomes her in a warm hug.
“What took you both so long?” Our mother Queen's voice is firm and serious.
“I’m sorry, mother to worry you” Siana hugs our mother and our father.
Siana seems in deep thoughts, I recognize my twin sister better, she can’t lie.
I have the feeling she will tell everything to my mother and father and that is not good in my part; Ruininki is lurking around and he is linked with me even if I like it or not.
Siana about to narrate the story when I intervene;
“We didn’t notice it is dark already, we have a long talk with Lady Jones, the one who tailored our dresses” I blurted out.
Siana stare at me clueless and I held her hand,
“We are tired mother and father, we will going to our room to relax” I made an excuse.
My mother Queen's face seems confused but my father King take it lightly,
“You may have your rest Princesses, your mother Queen is such a worrier. You both have to be prepared on your grand day” My father King ordered.
“yes, father” I answer instinctively while I nudge Siana for her to agrees so that we can leave.
“yes, father” Siana answered, I kiss our mother's cheeks and Siana does the same.
I walk and wait for Siana till I can pull her hand and walk with me
“Goodnight mother and father,” I said
“Goodnight” My mother Queen replies
We walk hand in hand till we reach her room “’ That is insane Siana” I blurted out which startled her,
“Why?” she is baffled
“You're about to reveal to mother and father what happened in Lady Annie's house,” I utter in disbelief.
“I think it’s better to inform mother and father” Siana voice is trembling
Now, it is only the two of us in her room; I can see how much she is scared of what happens to Lady Annie
“Siana” I call her name softly, I come closer and rub her back
Siana lay her head in my chest, “I’m scared Mia” her voice is strained.
“Don’t worry Siana, I will protect you” those words come from my heart and I do mean it.
