Leah’s POV
I didn’t even bother to calm down and digest the whole news. There is no way what happened that night means nothing to him. He can’t hurt me twice. I know for sure he was not lying when he said he had a reason and he will tell me about it. I know Asher can’t lie to me either. I need to find out if he misheard the whole thing. I just pray to the moon goddess that everything is just a misunderstanding and nothing more.
“Taxi.” I stopped the taxi and he parked his car, “Please take me to the Alpha.” I spoke politely and he nodded his head in approval.
“What do you think Cindy? Is he going to hurt me again? I already made up my mind to let him know about our missing kids so he can take it seriously in searching for the missing kids knowing his blood is among them.”
