E I G H T ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ Distastefully I walk inside of Selveridge High, there were rumours being spread about a girl. I couldn't place my finger on who the rumours are being told about, for some reason I had a vague idea of who it could be. Making my way through the large heaps of students I finally found my way towards the largest gossip girl of the school. Annabelle Royal, she smiled eye to eye as she told people about the things she had discovered. I watch as she flaunted her phone around, "I knew there was something wrong with this Bethany girl." she says loudly as the students around her laughed. I frown looking at her phone, there was a picture. As I walked closer to Annabelle, my jaw drops immediately. The girl in the picture was Bethany. Archer's girlfriend of the week with another girl, she cheated on Archer with another girl? In the picture, revealed Bethany topless on top of another girl. The other girls face was covered by Bethany's hair, but you could see that Bethany was kissing the girl. But the real question is... what's wrong with being with a girl? Was Annabelle homophobic? I watch as she laughed with the other students, making fun of Bethany's sexuality like it was a joke. I found Clarissa standing beside her locker as she watched Annabelle talking trash about Bethany. I make my way towards Clarissa, her expressions were bland - she clenches her fists as other students laughed at the photo of Bethany. It slightly triggered my thoughts, Clarissa seemed oddly angry about the picture that is being sent around. Clarissa has to have had something to do with Bethany, by the way she was looking at Annabelle with anger seemed to give it away. "Are you alright?" I ask the blonde haired girl, she doesn't bother to smile as she continues to watch Annabelle. Guess she's not doing okay, I let out a loud sigh before leaning beside her on the locker. "You look pale... do you want to get a coffee?" I offer, Clarissa shook her head before turning away from me. She lets out a soft sob, I widen my eyes as she avoids eye contact with me. "I'm guessing you don't want coffee." I murmur as I walk towards her, turning her to face me. Her face was stained with mascara as tears cascaded her face. "I did this, it was meant to be a secret. I don't know how Annabelle got a hold of that picture." she whispers sadly looking at me. "Clarissa explain, what do you mean I did this?" I give her a pointed look as she bites her lips nervously. "The other girl in the picture, it's me." she confesses, so I was right. Clarissa did have something to do with Bethany and she was making it really obvious by the way she's reacting. I let out a long sigh, "Why did you do this Clarissa? You knew Bethany and Archer were dating, yet you still went behind his back to hook up with her." "Archer doesn't care, he doesn't care about the girls he dates. All he does is hook up with them once and then ditches them for another girl." Clarissa says pulling me into the girls toilet, she leans on the door - preventing anyone for coming in. "That doesn't give you a reason to hook up with Bethany." I say straight forwardly, crossing my arms. "You don't understand, I always do this." she says sharply removing the mascara stains from her face. "You always do this?" I exclaim throwing my arms, she always goes behind Archers back and hook up with his girlfriends? Clarissa solemnly nods her head, "Straight after Archer breaks up with his girlfriend of the week, I do this." "Before you could scold me, I have my reasons." Clarissa says defensively. What reasons could back her point up? What she's doing is clearly messed up. "Explain." I state boldly, waiting casually for her response. Clarissa takes a deep breath. "I've always found it sad how each girlfriend of Archer's would feel lonely after he hooked up with them - that's only because he would break up with them straight after using them for his s****l desires," "So I would approach them and then we would talk and talk and the next thing you know, I hook up with them." Clarissa exclaims frustratedly. "It's hard, it's so hard containing my s****l frustration when I'm around girls... especially Archer's girls." I open my mouth but close it shut, she did it because she couldn't contain her s****l frustrations? "But Bethany and Archer were still dating, and you hooked up with her. That goes against what you said!" I say as Clarissa guiltily looks down, she lets out a exhausted sigh. "Bethany was different, when I saw her I was shocked. Her beauty was out of this world, I couldn't help myself around her. I didn't try anything with her, I lost control because she seduced me." Clarissa admits as I look at her in shock. "Bethany seduced you? Even knowing that her and Archer were still together." I was completely confused, why would Bethany do this. Clarissa shook her head, "If Archer finds out that it was me who was with Bethany and all the other girls before her, he would hate me." "You should stop this Clarissa, it's just wrong." I tell her panic rising in my face. If Archer knew, something would happen. "I can't, ever since last year I've been constantly doing it - I can't even look Archer in the eye anymore." she mutters not looking at me. "Does anyone else know?" I question, Clarissa nods her head. "Vincent, he said if that's what I want to do then I should do what I want because it will end up biting me in the ass later." Clarissa says fixing her hair, standing up straight. Vincent just let her go like that? He let her do that to Archer. I shook my head in disgust as Clarissa struggled to hold her head high. "So what now?" I mumble as she opens the door to leave the bathroom. She turns around to face me, "We wait." she says quietly. "Bethany could reveal it was you who she was with!" I snap as Clarissa shook her head to say no. "She won't, after I hook up with Archer's girls, I black mail them with their darkest secrets." she responds calmly, her inner b***h was showing. This was Clarissa Sintez, certified blackmailer of Selveridge High. "What about the person who took the picture? Do you know who that person is... no you don't, your reputation is at stake now because someone knows." I state as Clarissa closes her eyes. "I don't know, but I will find out soon." she says as I hold myself back from rolling my eyes. "Clarissa you do know that person could expose you whenever, you need to work fast before that person reveals that it was you in that picture with Bethany." I tell her as she nods her head, leaving the bathroom quietly. Who could the mystery photographer be? And why would they send that picture to Annabelle, making her spread the rumour to all the students in the school. Most importantly why would the students react that badly to the same gender hooking up? _ "So you're rank 1 now, that's great!" Val exclaims as she clasps both of her hands together in excitement. I eye her suspiciously, what if Val was the mysterious photographer? She has a personal vendetta against Clarissa. "Why is that great?" I question her, she gave me a dumbfounded look before casually knocking some sense into me. "It's great because I could get into the rank 1 table too, that would give me a chance to hit on Archer." Val says bluntly, I sigh as I walked towards my homeroom with her beside me. "I have a better idea, wouldn't Archer find you more attractive if you weren't from rank 1, he's never been with a girl from rank 1 before and I don't think he's planning to." I tell her as she thinks thoughtfully. Val purses her lips, "You're right, I'll tell you my progress later." she pats my shoulder before rushing into her homeroom. There was something wrong with that girl, she just acts so suspiciously. Once I enter my homeroom I found Mrs Potter smiling widely to herself. I groan mentally as she makes her way over towards me, her smile grows more wider. Doesn't this lady get sick of being so happy? "First homeroom with me, are you happy?" I resist the urge to yell at her, telling her to leave me alone. The lady had a weird obsession with me, I don't think she's a sane person. "Yay! I'm so grateful for you as my teacher." I say as she grins widely, I sigh before taking my seat at the back of the classroom. Vincent was sat next to me, I glance at him. His eyes were closed as his loud music was blaring out from his earphones. The classroom door opens to reveal Archer, he slowly makes his way towards the seat in front of me. He leans his head on the wall tiredly as if he was sick of this school. Instantly Vincent opens his eyes, he scans Archers tired expression with a straight face. Vincent sighs before pulling his earphones out, turning off his music. It was just the three of us in Mrs Potter's home room which confused me, where were the other students? Vincent purses his lips as he opened his mouth to speak but he looks at me, closing his mouth immediately. He has to stop doing that. The door opens once again, revealing a messy haired Yuta. His school shirt was unbuttoned as he sluggishly walked towards the empty seat next to Archer. "You look like you were with a girl." Archer comments as he notices Yuta's state, I watch as Yuta made eye contact with me. He sends me a ghost of a smile before looking at Archer. "No, not everything has to be about girls Archer." Yuta says blankly as he leaned on the desk. "So you were with a guy?" Archer says as Yuta elbowed him in the guts, ouch. "Does everything revolve around hooking up?" Yuta scowls as Archer shrugs his shoulders. "I mean dressed like that, clearly gives off the vibes you hooked up with someone." Archer says as Vincent scoffs at his words as Yuta rolls his eyes. "Well you're wrong, I was running late. That's why I'm dressed like a mess." Yuta states. "You're not dressed like a mess, you look good." I blurt out as Yuta widens his eyes at my words, Archer chokes on the water he was drinking. On the other hand Vincent sat still with a blank face, he pulls out his phone as he began typing on it. "There's no need to lie, I look terrible but if you say so... thanks." Yuta touches the nape of his neck nervously. Archer laughs, "I've never met a girl admitting a guy looks good, you're doing great sweetie." Archer says childishly. My phone vibrates pulling me out of my thoughts. Vince: don't i look good too? I notice Vincent looking at me, I gape at his text - I was beyond shock. Of course he looked good, in fact he looked ravishing. He was a living snack. But I would never admit something like that to someone like Vincent.
