Who is he

{Alexander's Pov} "Where are the papers on the community morale Sean?" my Beta Dawson asked my Gamma as i paced the foyer. Tonight I was being forced to go to a party in a pack that was in honor of some Gamma's adopted daughter. This pack hates mine and me going tonight is supposed to be some kind of peace treaty. "Table." Sean shouted from the hotel bathroom as he fastened his tie. He was always ready for a black tie event. Dawson, however, was not. He didn't like leaving work for the next day, so he brought it with us. I was sitting on the couch waiting for them to finish up so we could leave (the faster we got to this party the faster we could leave). "Dawn let's go already." I growled into my scotch as he finished up a form. The packhouse was greatly designed to scream fancy. We stood out front with the crowd of pack members from all around to see this infamous girl. As we watched limo after limo of ranked members and warriors unload, my wolf got more and more agitated. When the last limo pulls up, I start feeling dizzy. "I'm going to go to the bathroom." I tell Sean as I slap his shoulder, heading into the packhouse. By the time I made it to the bathroom, I was nauseous enough to fall to my knees. "Get ready. She's here." I hear the voice of Apex, my wolf, as I dry heave into the sink. Maybe the top shelf scotch was a little overboard. Grabbing a towel to wipe the sweat from my brow, I look in the mirror and take a deep breath. Who's here? Stupid wolf…I frown as I exit the bathroom with a grumble. What is that smell? I look around the main hall and see the back of a woman walking to the backdoor and Apex absolutely flips. "MATE! MATE! We found our mate! go get her! go get her!" He went wild, trying to take control right there. With every ounce of control I had, I forced Apex back and walked up to her, grabbing her by the wrist and pulling her through the closest door I could find. Unable to keep the words bitten, I growled "Mate." She turned with surprise. "Y-you're my mate?" she whispered so softly I almost missed it. She stood there staring at me, waiting for some answer I didn't have. Wasn't it obvious that I was her mate? Her face was strikingly beautiful, red curls framed her soft face and I so badly wanted to brush them away, when tears started to form in her gorgeous green eyes. "Who are you?" She asked as she looked up into my eyes. Without a word, I pulled her to me and kissed her and Apex howled as I tasted her soft lips, wanting so much more, but knowing now is not the time. She smelled like vanilla and something else...some kind of flower. It was amazing. Her mouth tasted even better as a tingling sensation from our skin touching made every worry I had back at my own pack disappeared for a moment. I had to stop before i got ahead of myself. "Meet me in the forest just outside your pack." I said into her ear and left as quickly as I could. Apex wanted to break out and mark her, but I couldn't let him do that. Instead, I stormed out and walked over to the Alpha and his Luna. "I have to apologize Alpha Beckem, but some matters at home have become urgent, and I need to start heading back. But if it's alright with you and your Luna, I will leave my Beta and Gama to discuss the peace between our packs." I gave them a curt nod and left, walking around the side of the building so she didn't see me. I needed time to think about this. About her. " I will see you back at the hotel tonight. Don't embarrass me you two." I linked Dawson and Sean as i got into my car and drove to the hotel a few blocks away. When I got to our shared suite, I slammed the door shut behind me with a grunt. Apex was pissed I had left her at that party, but it was in fact her party and I won't be accused of kidnapping. I had given up on finding a mate, a Luna. At 25, it is very uncommon to be unmated, unless your mate died. With a sigh, I fell onto one of the beds. When it got later into the night, and neither of my men returned to the suite, I was too anxious to sit around, and I left and headed to the forest, hoping she would meet me like I had asked. Apex was bounding around in my mind, very much unlike his usual broody, quiet self. I sat on a log mentally going over the things I should say to her, the things I wanted to say. As an Alpha, I am not used to having feelings for anything other than protecting my people. I could hear her approaching the small clearing from a handful of yards away. Taking a deep breath, I stood and straightened the suit I forgot I had been wearing all night. Ready or not....
