They cautiously approached the house Hope opened the link between her and Autumn .

Autumn was ready she sat chanting inside the circle with Zach guarding her .

Damon and Hope approached the door “ ready ?” Hope said .

“As I’ll ever be “ Damon said Hope kicked the door in and suddenly they were swarmed with vampires Damon fought using his special knife and the gun Hope gave him .

Hope used two swords slicing and dicing she was so much faster than Damon but he still held his own well.

Once all the vampires were dead they went outside to the yard there was no one else about Hope thought that was lucky as the sun was now setting and vampires are strongest at night .

They checked the yard thoroughly and the house was all clear . She spoke to Autumn through the link to say there was nothing more there .

“ Are you speaking to Autumn in your head ? “ Damon asked curiously .

Hope nodded “ yes I have to open the link or she does but yes we can we have a telepathic connection which is useful in battle “ .

They both headed out the door Damon in front Hope behind when a hand grabbed her round the back of the neck picked her up and threw her through the air.

She slide across the sand and landed with a thud .

Turning round she saw him The Master all dressed in dark with long dark hair and red eyes , fangs out at the ready .

“ I’ve been waiting for you “ he said .

Damon ran at him and Hope shouted “ no “ but he tried anyway he was swatted like a fly he flew across the ground and landed near her they both faced each other then Hope faced The Master again .

“Autumn “ she screamed in her head “ he is here “.

“Ok let’s do it “ came the quick response.

“Now “ she told Autumn.

Autumn chanting got faster her face flew up to face the darkening sky and Zach could see a blue light spread over her whole body.

“Mutatio “ Autumn chanted .

“Mutatio” Hope chanted snd suddenly there was a bright blue light and a armour spread up her body to her chest glowing blue her head and hair also now blue her eyes glowing and her two swords on her back became ancient blue swords like nothing Damon had seen before .

“Custodire (protect )“ Hope said to Damon he put his hand out and felt the barrier that had now surrounded him .

“continentiam” (contain ) Hope signalled to herself and The Master .

The Master tried to push against the wall as if he could feel it’s power .

“So it’s just me and you “ he grinned .

“ Yep “ Hope nodded .

“ it will be an honourable death “ he continued .

“For you yes “ Hope smirked .

They run at each other punches and kicks going so fast Damon couldn’t see who was who it was all just a blur he saw Hope fall to the ground but she was up again quickly and it continued .

Hope was finally pushed from behind into the barrier her face inches from Damon and she met his eyes .

Then The Master was dragging her backwards she spoke to Autumn to give it all she had next thing he saw The Master flying over her head and Hope pulling at his head next thing his head flew across and hit the barrier Hope stood triumphantly over his body .

“Dimittis “ ( release ) she said .

The barriers came down she walked over to Damon who was just watching he wasn’t sure what he was processing .

Her appearance all glowing and armoured , her strength or the fact she just killed this vampire , the oldest one ever with such ease .

“ You ok ? Believe me now “ she asked .

He nodded .

“We need to burn the body and bury the head elsewhere .” Hope said .

Just as Damon was about to approach the body it went up in flames he saw Autumn walking towards the body waving her hands and muttering some words .

She was glowing like Hope .

“ We all ok ?”Hope nodded .

“Surprisingly good “ Autumn grinned .

“Ok collect the head and then it’s time to despelll “ Hope said .

“Are you a good catch “ she asked Damon .

He looked at her confused as Hope went and stood close to him .Autumn and Hope both muttered something not quite loud enough that the boys could hear Autumn glow went and she became her normal self so did Hope then she suddenly passed out Damon just caught her in his arms blood was dripping from her nose .

Panic set in inside him “ what’s wrong ?” He quickly asked Autumn .

“Get her in the car she’s ok but we need to get her back to the bar “ Autumn ordered .

Damon put her on the back seat then went round and climbed in the back and put Hopes head in his lap .

Zach after.putting the masters head in the boot got in the front with Autumn who was driving they roared off down the road .

“We need to go to hospital “ Damon said stress evident in his voice .

“She is ok honestly trust me “ Autumn said “she is just burnt out .I power her but because I once let my power consume me she doesn’t let me fully power up which means when she fully changes instead of using my life force she uses her own and it drains her she will recover but it takes a little time “. Autumn glances in the mirror “ she will be ok “ she said Damon unsure if she was talking to him or herself .
